My ex and I bought a compact camera there in Houston once, not too long after the first Bay movie came out.

They sure didn't carry any TF toys back then

Great find! Can't check the stores myself though, nearest Frys is three hours away and while I love me some Titans there is a limit to that love. :lol

I'd plan on stopping by Fry's this morning if I didn't think there'd be 10 guys waiting at the door to compete over a single case.

I've found that Fry's gets new Transformers in only a week or two before the first retail sighting, so I can wait.

Fry's is an electronics retailer with dozens of stores in multiple states. My particular store has, like, 5 toy aisles in the back by the console section. It's brick-and-mortar.

That's odd. The Arlington store was carrying Classics in 2006.

Well... we only bought an Olympus camera...I didn't expect TF's there, so I wasn't thoroughly looking for them. If there were any at Fry's Houston in 2007, I didn't spot 'em.

    This!

But I'm only interested Blur and Hardhead at retail but I won't be going crazy looking for them (might just wait for HTS).

Scourge and Skullsmasher are Takara worthy and pre-ordered.

The nearest Fry's is two hours away from me, but I'll be heading that way next week.

I've been thinking I need to start focusing on the MP line but it takes been losing me while the main line keeps pulling me back in.

It's like the transition from Thrilling 30 was the point for both lines.

Edit: Actually I liked the Voyagers and Legends out of the Thrilling 30 line, but man the deluxes sucked.

The point would probably be that the definition of "retail" is vague.

Sometimes a sighting at Will's Comic Book Corner gets posted on the main page as evidence of a "retail release".

Yet sometimes a sighting doesn't get reported unless it happened at one of the "big four" (i.e. Walmart, Target, Toys"R"Us or Kmart).

So the point is, which standards do we apply?

Apparently, the Targets around me have Blaster instock and some of the legends class. $46 is very hard to spend though on these leader class figures. I'm in Michigan

Frys is a major retailer, just like a drug or grocery store. Steve's Comic Shack isn't and shouldn't be considered "mass retail" as the distributors are most likely different. Now if we get proof that they're the same, maybe we could include them.

    My opinion.

100 Fry's does not a major retailer make.

Don't go by the Target website, they use the same DPCI #s for Titans Return as they did for Combiner Wars.

So if your local Target store has, say, an old CW Leader Armada Megatron in stock, the Target website will show TR Leader Blaster as "in stock" for that particular store because they're both Leaders.
