I got the reissue of TR Fort Max recently and noticed something unusual after watching Emgo's review of the original release: when he plugged Cerebros into the main tower in city mode, it unlocked different sound effects including one that said "Emissary" but I haven't been able to replicate it with my copy. I'm pretty sure I have Cerebros plugged in correctly, does anyone know if the sounds were changed for the reissue or if I might have a defective part, or if there's some other problem?

Cerebros takes batteries. Two AA batteries IIRC. They're probably dead or were never installed.

Oh no, I have batteries, he can use the "Cerebros" and "Fortress Maximus" sets of voices/sound effects, it's just the city/base mode effects I can't get to work. Apparently the long white piece on the central tower goes into Cerebros to activate the new sounds, but I've pushed it in as far as I dare without breaking it and he still just uses the "Cerebros" sounds.

Nevermind, I got it to work, apparently I just had to push it in even further. Always nervous about using too much force especially with these more expensive figures.
    Thanks~
