So, what is up with this wave? It's at Walgreens, but nowhere else. Now I'm reading that Hasbro is sold out? How the hell does that happen?

 

I have resigned myself to the existence of wave 2. It just never existed.

 

yeah, same here. only seen walgreens having wave 2.....i just recently saw powermaster prime at walmart though!

 

It could be multiple things; a) it's selling really well, b) Hasbro produced a smaller amount of product than usual, or c) both

 

I saw a single Chromedome at Target a few weeks back, and just found all 4 wave 2 DX's at Meijer tonight.

 

I've seen it at TRU, Target, and Walgreens.

We're not supposed to be technically seeing it until late October- November according to Hasbro.

Be patient.

 

It seems to be the same thing that happened in 2010, when Kohls bought all the RTS wave with Jazz, Tracks, etc and couldnt be found anywhere else.

 

This is just how distribution works, it is getting bad and its going to get worse.

Wouldn't be surprised if stores are holding back for Black Friday and the coming holiday shopping season. Then again alternatively things could just be selling well enough that Hasbro couldn't keep up. Nobody can say definitively since the situation differs all over.

Like others said, just be patient. Entertainment Earth won't get theirs in stock until October so it just hasn't reached saturation yet. There's no reason to freak out.

 

Wave 2 is easy to find where I'm at.

I'm in America, specifically Pennsylvania. So ya shipping to you isn't worth it.

 

Company (hasbro or whoever) sends shit to where it goes into storage, and awaits being bought / picked by the companies that distribute the toys.
Some stores carry the whole line (very few stores) some pick a wave or two and sell that, others sell nothing.

as the toys are often all available at the same time, it's up to the stores that pick /sell them (or the middle people who actually distribute it to the stores / their reps or whatever) who unlike Santa with his list he checks twice, pretty much just take "whatever" and send it "someplace"

Some stores get multiples of the same waves, some get both waves at the same time. Some stores never get much of anything, some stores are jealous of the other stores with their rather erotically charged descriptions. Or when those stores do get toys in, they sit out the back until they have shelf space.
Some stores sell out, and then can't be fucked putting the new lots out on the shelves, or have to wait for their distributor "Dodgy Leg Bob" to come back, when he's not busy losing them or driving into lakes because his GPS told him to.

I hope this fictional tale somewhat explains the very technical and modern process of most people not giving a fuck what toys go where, as long as they get paid.

 

I just want to see wave 1 and 2 leaders on the shelf.

 

I think wave 2 deluxes showed up at Walgreens near me right after the 25% off sale, and I am too damn cheap to pay $20 each for them......so far.
