I'm gonna be honest, I came in here to see if the shitty Yen to Euro conversion and Takara ramping up their prices to include the little Titanmaster vehicles finally made the local Hasbro versions cheaper in comparison.

The answer is surprisingly still no. It's getting close though.

I paid 10 Euro less for the Takara versions than what Hasbro versions cost in Germany. Even with shipping it's cheaper still. Crazy. Definitely not paying 30 euros for a deluxe. So pass for all the Headmasters I don't like as the Takara version, as I don't like Hasbro's price. Seems I'll be done with collecting soon. And not because I have all I want. The CW deluxes were overpriced already. Did not buy a single one.

Found at four different stores today, three of them belonging to two of the bigger chains, while the fourth is an independent store that's a member of a trade association:

Toys"R"Us in Duisburg-Meiderich has all four (two of each): Blurr, Hardhead, Skullsmasher and Scourge.

Toys"R"Us in downtown Essen only has Blurr, Hardhead and Skullsmasher, but no Scourge:

Spielzeugparadies in Essen-Steele (a member of the "Spielzeug-Ring" trade association) has Skullsmasher and Scourge (one of each):

Spiele Max inside the Forum shopping mall in downtown Mülheim an der Ruhr has all four (one of each):

Wow. Those figs are twice the price than here in the US. If that happened, I would be very selective on what I got.

I am actually so used to e-tail prices by now i passed up a CW Prowl at retail because i foolishly didnt check the price and dropped my jaw hearing he was close to 30 euro's at checkout.
Why buy at retail at all.

30 Euro for a Deluxe class toy... that explains a lot here in Polish TRUs and Smyks where Deluxes cost exactly the same. It's kind of amusing when I remember Polish Hasbro's oficially appointed online store has them for 30% less.

    Me too.
    I bought the wave 1 pack for about 86,90 € + additional ntf-coupon code of 5%. That's 82,56 € compared to 119,96 € what I would pay in stores. That's about 30% less!

Yeah, I'm surprised myself that Hasbro hasn't tried to restrict or ban parallel imports of their products yet.

Thanks, prices are better there. I expected the prices to be the same.
