Most of the minibots in the last 4 years have been super cool.

IMO Cosmos, Swerve, TR Rumble/Rewind, Brawn, Gnaw are ace.

I really hope Beachcomber, Huffer, Windcharger and cliffjumper get new toys.
and eject and "frenzy" get released as repaint.

You don't like the Combiner Wars Tailgate redeco either? Just asking as there may be a 0,001% chance you are unaware of this figure existing. :p

Not in the slightest. It looks like MTMTE Tailgate wearing a coat of red paint and a Windcharger mask.

I did buy one to fill my Lost Light/IDW display but it's far from what I would consider to be a good update to the G1 toy.

I love that aspect as well.

Another thing I like is how seamless the spare tire holder integrates in alt mode! I was shocked to see it like that in-hand.

Bought both Brawn and Seaspray earlier today.
Both figures are pretty sturdy and are really nifty figures since Swerve and Cosmos (with their targetmaster partners).
Brawn here is by far my fave of the two.
His bonce is so like his cartoon model head design and his vehicle mode is by far a really sweet deal. :D

I lucked out and found one at Target Sunday. Lot's of Bees and Roadburns and one Brawn. At long last I own a Brawn again. I love how blocky his forearms are. I've got him posed punching his fists together, like he's saying "These pistons are for Decepticon Demonlition!" Also he looks good posed on CW Motormaster, punching him in the face, LOL.

Interestingly enough I've noticed he doesn't have a display base peghole on him.

I can definitly see a gears/swerve usage of the legs, but I'd hope they'd remold the front of the vehicle. And my previous Swerve fills that role just fine.

^ Isn't it usually just flying bots that get display stand holes?

I got Brawn on Sunday, but it's only been yesterday where I really explored what he could do. Maybe I've been spoiled by Wheelie's waist, maybe I've enjoyed lumping Rewind and Chromedome together, maybe I've enjoyed trying to get as much cat personality out of Stripes, and maybe I'm biased towards Bumblebee (and, consequently, Roadburn), but I didn't think Brawn was for me, until I realized he had more peg holes than the other Legends Autobots. I'm a bit put off by his slightly long torso and somewhat short legs, but I will admit it ups the personality coming off of the toy. Once I got past using the shield as, well, a shield, he really opened up for me.

Hasbro, more specifically the folk(s) who made Brawn in particular, thank you for putting out another great Legends release. Hopefully the eventual Outback retains both the shield and his character-specific gun.

Yeah, he doesn't have one on his person (I was somewhat disappointed by this development), but, if you're like me and just have him use fisticuffs or large weapons, you do have a semi-permanent option that might end up lost for some people.
    IMG_0824.JPG
What I'm trying to say is if you lose the shield, you're SOL with using a display stand with Brawn.
    Not always.

I think it looks better than the tiny stock head.

I like the face sculpt of the Titan Master, the helmet shape of the Legends (especially the parts that angle towards his cheeks), but I'd prefer the head to be in-between those two sizes for the Legends guy. I'm nitpicking, though. They're both excellent.

I presume the larger head doesn't actually work with the conversion to vehicle mode, yes?

    It transforms no problem.

I think anything but stock head is better.

Got one this morning. Boring to transform, but at least it can carry a Titan Master around.

So far, I love the minibots than their bigger/taller counterparts.

Minus this obvious gripe of not having any waist articulation after waiting more than 30 years these are perfect minibots.
I might mod him and give one and wrist articulation while I'm at it.

He's right up there with Powerglide.

I agree...for the pricepoint..these ARE the perfect minibots. Besides windcharger, hasbro has done an amazing job with them. Gears was my 1st transformer ever..then brawn. As a kid..I liked brawn, but his bot mode was SO damn funky. Then you see the cartoon, and I LOVED the guy. I always had a hard time imagining the G1 bot mode as this super strong weightlifter.

this one? hell hes got it all. a lil dude can even ride in him.

Im very excited for outback...I hope it happens.
