In Australia we have many things that will kill you: spiders, snakes, spiders and most of all shipping any overseas purchase to Australia! Which is why I decided to start converting a spare tr Triggerhappy into a Brainstorm. There's still work to be done but it's a start! Well, crap, I didn't even realize how perfect this mold would be for brainstorm with just a bit of remolding. I mean the blurr remold is fine, but now I'm legit a bit disappointed Hasbro didn't use a retooled version of this mold for brainstorm. I bet this is gonna look awesome when you're done!
Yep, ever since I saw Triggerhappy, I knew that he would've been so much better for Brainstorm. It just works so well.
i think it is best that you could post the fully converted brainstorm figure rather than posting a triggerhappy telling everyone u WILL convert it but with zero update due to reasons like "been busy" .... your title is misleading too ...there's no brainstorm here...
I'm so sorry that I haven't updated you on the TR Brainstorm progress. You have my sincerest apologies. BTW this is a hobby, I work at my own pace, for me, not you.
BTW this is a hobby, I work at my own pace, for me, not you.[/QUOTE] i totally understand. just saying might as well create this thread when u finished converting trigerhappy to brainstorm ...rather than posting something entirely different from your title.... it is quite misleading ....and disappointing .. here... hope this helps as reference... You should read things in their entirety before you comment. Thanks but I can use Google or a wiki to look up reference images, so your passive-aggressive attempt at "help" is unnecessary. I'm 40, trying to guilt me into finishing the custom by being disappointed in me is a joke.
I totally agree about everything you just said. I love looking at everyone's work on here and usually remain silent, but this attitude of "calling everyone out" on these boards is getting old. people are human, we make mistakes. I personally like watching how people approach the same kind of remake. I like the differences between yours and cheets. I dont however want to see you build his. I want to see yours. ( im putting this here just so no one thinks I think that is your intention because I know its not). I am not trying to start a war against anyone but it would seem some people here only comment negatively. anyways. my question on your build is, do you plan on making vertical stabilizers? and its interesting to me that you didn't just cut off his side guns. sorry to rant on your work site but this stuff is really getting to me
I totally understand the lack of updates part on the part of OP, especially since I should have updated my TR Fangry>Skullcruncher project but I've ended up pausing that as I've become stuck and ended up starting a full rework of TR Scourge (an impulse buy, no less.) Be patient, guys.
I'll be honest, I call people out on the boards for posting crappy, feedback on other people's work. There's a good way of critiquing work - but enough, maxx's comments got me to pull out my brainstorm and take a good look at what needs to be done: Wings Stabilizers Head Paint Dexter, I planned to do the stabilizers but was tossing up how to do them, I kept the ones that I cut off from the legs and will probably attach them to the shoulders so that they're hinged. Also figured out how to flip the wings!
Ha! Can relate to that, wound making a tailgate from the cw windcharger, I was ready to prime it and that gen tailgate space car mod/mistransformation hit the boards!
Few more tweaks and he'll be ready for priming. But first, holidays! Brainstorm101 by Nathan Soehardi, on Flickr
