Patience does go miles, however the figure was pretty available for preorder from seller outside the us, as was groove. I didn't have any hassle getting either figure. Did I pay extra? Yes. However it was worth it to not have to deal with tracking them down from us sellers or at retail distribution

 

Yeah, that's what I did. I got 2 form Nerdo toys and both came shipped very fast. The good news was at a Walgreens this morning and they finally got in Namor. I do hope this means Brainstorm is not far off. A few Walgreens did sell through the action battlers as well.

I've seen enough people writing/saying they're going to be buying 8 or whatever when they do find them that I don't want to deal with the hassle of trying to find one locally.

 

Having him in hand, I can safely safe I think this is superior to the Generations Voyager Brainstorm.

 

Yeah, that's what I did. I wasn't too into trying to find him at retail, and I ordered him from Robot Kingdom at a price probably not far off than I'd wind up paying for him on eBay next month, so I just dealt with it.

I may go Takara on this one. I think it'll be easier to get and I like the blue better than the green, also bonus Titan Master vehicle.

Those are trolls. No one is going to buy 8... Because they don't stock 8 at a time... probably closer to 2 or 3. I am waiting for Walgreens to stock since I missed out on pre-orders and all that.

My Walgreens has healthy stock of Star Wars and those Nintendo 8-bit figure exclusives.

If I find any Brainstorms at my local Walgreens, I will buy them, and let everyone here know I will offer them at cost + shipping.

Debating paying premium as I'm not sure if they're even coming to Australia.

Honestly, that sounds more like contributing to the problem than helping, to me....

 

I had a similar response all typed out, but I was reluctant to post because people can use whatever circular logic they want to justify their actions. Which makes trying to argue against their position pointless.

Anyway, i'm just going to wait for the cost to drop on the item and then get it online.

 

Honestly, I don't mean to tell people what they should do. I certainly see that he's trying to be helpful, not harmful.

Still, this action has the result of fewer toys on the shelves, and fans having to pay more (if only shipping) than they otherwise would have to have done. At least, if taken to its logical conclusion.

As it is, we're really only talking isolated incidents, and thus the harm caused (if indeed harm is caused) may not be so great.

I just felt the need to say that the move might actually be counter-productive, despite good intentions.
