Well in truth it's just above his butt, there's a 5mm port on his right near the bottom of the boombox handle. ;)

With the TM helmet on, it's based on how his face looked on the original G1 toy.

The TM slots into the bottom of the cassette chunk for boombox mode (The head plugs into the top of the slot). It's not ideal, but it IS a place to store the TM, and was clearly intended as such.

Finally found one at brick and mortar this weekend, and I love this boxy, brawny dude! Very nice take on the character, and infinitely better than the FOC version I have been making due with the last couple of years. I feel he will compliment my incoming MP Soundwave just fine, although the TR Blaster and Soundwave minions are...um. Well. Anyway.

    I...wait...G1 Blaster's rubsign placement is...*retches a little bit*

TR Blaster was not on-par with acceptable quality control, and required some serious flash-trimming, and a re-pin on a leg panel, not for the uninitiated, and I would've been Hella pissed if I wasn't the type who could fix stuff.

But once sorted, he is great. Very retro, and yet quite modern with good articulation and balance.

Just hope you don't have to fix yours, that sucked.

So what was your issue with the leg? I have no idea what those words mean.

The little post that pegs into the leg panels on the right leg was not trimmed at all, and would not peg into the weird hole. The pin wasn't inserted all the way in, as the lowest part of the pin-slot wasn't drilled, and was no easy feat to drill out.

Can't believe I was going to skip this guy. Didn't need/want him as the FOC one is fine for my display needs, and I don't have much affection or connection to the character...

But after an impulse buy I can honestly say: sweet! Mine is really, really sturdy. He's chunky, has barely any hollow bits (if any?) and is just a whole lot of fun. Basically, like CW Megatron he's a poor man's MP and is now displayed nicely with my MP Soundwave.

My two minor complaints would be that he's slightly gappy in altmode (could have used a panel or two to cover his torso up?) and that now I know how cool he is, I might've preferred the Takara colors.

    Pleasantly surprised! :thumb

Darn it, I picked up Megasteel Buster on sale around Christmas to use as my Blaster, since I alternate between Sonicron and Device Label Soundblaster as my `Con Communication Officer. Buster just scales better with them. But the glowing reviews on here are making me consider getting Blaster anyway!

Cannon on base mode left arm is floppy. Crap. If u don't know what I'm on about, look at Optibotimus' or Baltmatrix's review s on YouTube, they have the same problem. Anyone know how to fix it?
