hey! I posted this in one of the front page threads, but it was quickly buried so i thought it might be interesting to drop here. i took the revealed Jet Mode pic of Black Shadow and silhouetted it in the same style as the Botcon tease of Overlord ~ you can see fairly clearly that there are significant differences between the 2 molds. After doing this, i'm of the opinion the jet half molds may be ENTIRELY different (or at least a total reshell of the jet bits) ~ For example Overlord appears to maintain his SR-71 style Nacelles that would form his arms and shoulders,
Tge front of Black Shadow's nosecone cones off to form the stock of his gun. I imagine that's the piece that will be particularly different looking. Also the loss of the center tailfin.
the entire forward fuselage is shaped differently: Overlord's is wider and smoother/curved (shaped a lot like the front of the Cobra Night Raven actually), Black Shadows is narrower, sharp and angular.
they've been doing that a lot lately (Alpha Bravo, Sentinal Prime, Laser Prime, voyager Megatron) ~ someone just made a thread on the topic...
