Call it whatever you want, but to me it\'ll always be \"The Pain Wars Trilogy.\"
God help us all...
A Primus re-issue would be nice, but unlikely.
Gave up on the Combiner Wars series after 4 episodes
Probably won't bother with the sequels
Also, it's a shame part 3 of the prime wars trilogy won't be Beast Wars. But I guess that was hoping for too much
Power of the primes is an interesting name for the line. But, what kind of gimmick will the line have?
For some reason I am envisioning a toyline where all of the figures are sort of like the energon "brute mode" figures. Be can plug extra pieces into their vehicle and robot modes to upgrade into their "prime forms"
Eg: Voyager Prime Power Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime: a roughly deluxe sized Hot Rod toy with armour parts to upgrade him into a voyager sized Rodimus prime
Or a leader class Orion Pax to Optimus Prime
Or leader white prime to Ultra Magnus, or ultra Magnus to Maximus Ambus or Minimus to Magnus or something.
Or Titan Class leader Star saber + voyager victory Leo to victory Saber
That's probably hoping for too much and the series gimmick will likely be less insane
Hopefully the original 13 would all get toys here too.
I understand that part of it because this is supposed to be a sort of "promotion" for the two new series. I am just thinking that by not mentioning any negative feedback they are promoting the Combiner Wars series as if it was universally praised and that the high ratings were in response to positive buzz around the show. I think that the main reason the series received the amount of views that it did is because of the G1 character designs, a more "mature" storyline, huge combiners fighting one another, and the fact that it was not Bayformers. Seeing how fans reacted to the first series they should know what to expect coming from these upcoming series (although they should at least give them a chance to see if they have improved upon their mistakes).
I'm in the severe minority that loved Combiner Wars so I'm excited as hell for Titans Return and Primes!
If nothing else, it'll be really easy to be patient.
Cool.. i like the shows.. just wish they were more than 9 mins per episode...
Abandon all hope, ye who enter this hobby for more than the toys. "Epic" is now a corporate demand, and pretentiousness is the new norm.
So expect the second installment around the time that Titans Return is well over and no product to support it... Okay. Hopefully the third installment will have the best of both series with some Primes thrown in for fun.

All kidding aside, i don't think we should have any expectations for this. If we set our expectations low enough, we can't be disappointed, right?
LOL, that just people's way of telling the people who don't it to shut up.
We didn't watch the show hoping to hate it. So when the Machinima CEO Chad Gutstein makes it sound like it was this monumental groundbreaking show when it clearly wasn't, we're going to speak on this apparent delusion of his. But if it makes you feel better I have no plans on watching this show again. But I will continue to bash it since both Hasbro and Machinima should know better. And despite Bays success, the growing trend with films last Summer is that better quality normally leads to better returns.
Oh joy. Sequels to Tsundere Windblade's Adventure. The sequels no one asked for.
I'll stick with the polite IDW cityspeaker, thanks.
As if... this would rob people of their self-anointed right to complain about something.
If recent world events have reinforced any lesson, it's there's no such thing as bad publicity.
“The global fan base has really embraced this vision of the Transformers.”
That's uh, certainly one way of putting it. If you go by the third defition Webster gives that word (include or contain (something) as a constituent part), then we embrace it as something to toss in the garbage and try to forget about, including it with Kiss Players, The Beast Within, Energon, and most of Armada.
I'm definitely not even giving another web series a chance. The first one was garbage in every conceivable way and since a high amount of views = success to the powers that be, I won't be giving them another one. No way.
Power of the Primes sound intriguing though. Whatever it is I'd be happy if they had both combiners and headmasters be a part of it.
We're 2/3 of the way into the Prime Wars, and yet no Primes have actually warred yet. Onyx Prime has been touted as the next big thing to arrive, so I'm still confident we'll see Beasts in a larger capacity.
Primes, plural, could mean 13 fighting, but it could also mean just two or three battling it out. Optimus, Onyx and perhaps Micronus, who was just introduced in Revolutions.
Let us not forget: The current line is called Titans Return, yet it's about Headmasters. Power of the Primes may be the name, but it could be about anything.
