Two More Transformers Prime Wars Series Announced
Now let's hope Freddery McMahon redoes these next 2 series just like he did with CW.
@The Kup I am really excited at the possibility of Freddery doing 2 more of these.
But, back to my initial reaction of this news *AHEM*
I was just gonna post that Kup, curses!
Not surprised about this development. Hope Freddery does 2 more parodies of these.
Coming to you once the titular toy line is over, experience another mediocre-at-best web series on a shitty online video platform nobody ever heard of.
Maybe they'll actually try and tell a coherent story this time around...?
One intriguing thing though, part three being called Power of the Primes. Perhaps the toyline really will be centred around the various gimmicks the Primes represent?
Anyone else notice the fact that the article gives the name for the third part of the Prime Wars toyline? Power of the Primes! Possibly getting figures of the 13
That was great!
I'm a whore for Windblade so I'll give it a chance though..
Just what we all needed. I also like how the article mentions the 120 million views that the series had but not any of the feedback.
I liked Combiner Wars, but I hope they've learned some lessons going foreword. Better animation, writing, and most of all real voice actors.
""Since launching the trilogy’s first installment in August 2016, Transformers: Combiner Wars, has garnered more than 120 million global views on a wide variety of platform"
“The global fan base has really embraced this vision of the Transformers,” said Machinima CEO Chad Gutstein, “and we are thrilled to be working closely with Hasbro developing the next two installments of the series.”
Stop coming to the wrong conclusion!
"The first sequel, Transformers: Titans Return, will take the action of the series to new ‘heights,’ and feature return appearances from many fan-favorite Transformers characters"
there's that word again!
Why would they? Ratings are the only thing that matters.
This is infuriating. This show was garbage. Unless they mean returned fan favorites = Megatron, they're full of it. No more frigging Windblade I'm so sick of her I could spit.
God I cannot believe they considered the first series a SUCCESS. This really tears down any hope I had of them actually listening to the hardcore fanbase for any animated project if they thought we liked this. I regret watching the damn thing even more if view count was all they went by in determining it's quality as a show.
They need to get people in here listening to some of the critique here, because (justified) ranting aside, this show had serious, serious issues. I'm actually mad about this.
I haven't watched the first one, but I heard it was terrible.
So I'm not that excited for two more.
Agreed, its like the movies, the feedback the movie gets are not revelant to the studio, instead its how much money it made.
