Titans - Episode 1.08 - Donna Troy - First Look Photos
Titans goes down hill a bit again this episode.
Gar eats a guy
Everybody gets tortured
Dick has a hallway fight scene.
Starfire still in a Hooker style outfit with the fur jacket
Plot seems weak and all over the place
They all break up at the end
Robin's outfit gets burnt. Seems like they may be setting up Nightwing. Rachel meets her real mom.
Though Donna shows up next episode and based on the preview has history with Robin and has powers
Yea, that didn’t happen
Sorry that was the preview for the next episode. I was only half paying attention by the end.
I hope Donna Troy has a decent uniform.
Maybe I missed it, but how the heck did Robins outfit get burnt?
I didn't mention it last time, but despite barely getting a look at it, seeing how B:TAS it was, I like the Batmobile.
Boy this episode sucked. I don't even feel the need to clarify it, it's just overall terrible on every level.
He burned it on purpose.
I need a Hawk & Dove spinoff. Like now. Start it a few years before the start of Titans and where we find them there. Consistently the most interesting parts of Titans for me is the story of those two.
Why couldn't this current episode be a two parter from the second episode?
Breaking it up slows this series down so damn much since we are close to the season finale.
Indeed. and seeing's how Hawk & Dove are going to have to go find Jason and then get to the others and we are getting Kori origin ish next episode, seems a lot to have cram in there.
Hoping this is just a dream or something if not this series may have lost my interest now with the absurdity of this.
Dick finally meets his match.
I really hope season two is more organized. like they do some good things on this show (I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Hawk & Dove) but the season's pacing and structure is all over the fn map.
Man, the WTH. Last episode had Rachel calling for Hawk and Dove to get Jason to help out and non of them shows up this slow ass episode.
I'm familiar with the guy that plays Trigon, but come on get a more menacing looking actor not someone who is shorter and skinnier than Rachel's mom.
So next episode looks like another wasted episode with a nightmare dream cause no way that's how Batman will return in a live action tv show.
it has been really up and down all season
the season finale trailer is almost definitely Trigon playing with Robin based on how the last episode ended
Just saw the season finale. I thought it was okay. (I love the show btw.)
Spoiler: Finale Spoilers
Obviously it was a "dream" and it was. I'm okay with this. I really like the pacing on this show. It feels like it moves along at a good pace but then you have slow episodes that really flesh out the characters. I really really dig the pacing. This was an "okay" Dick Grayson centered episode. It's pretty much a cliffhanger though. Not the best episode of the season but that's okay cause overall the season has been immensely fun (IMO).
Post credits teaser (YOU MUST WAIT AND WATCH THE WHOLE EPISODE. Wait till the credits are finished rolling.) DO NOT READ THE SPOILERS BELOW IF YOU INTEND TO WATCH THE EPISODE. You'll want to watch the teaser spoiler free, trust me. Trust me. Trust me. Trust me. Trust me. If you enjoy the show, you'll... enjoy the teaser.
Spoiler: Post Credits Teaser Spoilers
Connor Kent. Superboy. Escaped Clone. Metropolis. Nuff Said. Damn.
The production values on this show and the willingness to seemingly use ANY DC character makes me very excited to see how Connor gets portrayed.
Did they have to drag the whole episode down to the end without any resolution? No Nightwing suit, no new Stargirl suit. No Hawk, Dove or Robin. No clear scene of Batman's suit.
What a shitty season finale.
Season1 is really the mid season finale of the full season.
2nd half will likely show up after doom patrol.
Ah so they pulled a Netflix Voltron and broke up the production season but are still calling the parts seasons
I really liked this finale until the end. It really fell flat. But they made up for it with the post credits scene!
