Whoa! Talk about coincidences! I saw your castle bot at Megacon and remarked on how cool it was to my wife. I wish I had stopped to chat as I have not yet met any fellow FL TFW2005ers. Neat stuff!

Hey TGping. Nice to see you on TFW too.
Might as well say it again, I definitely feel these will be worth the wait.
Hope to see more dinos too.

This is the craziest thing I think I've seen - in a good way! The bodily possession of an existing creature answers so many problems I had with organic moded robots (despite loving BW), namely "how do they keep the skin cells alive?" Plus, I love dinosaurs, so you've got those points already...

    design quibbles:
I personally dislike asymmetrical robot modes, especially where the beast head becomes a hand. You've got a couple in at least rough stages (tyranno, and ceratops combo) with asymmetrical designs, but have done some interesting things with the heads by breaking them up into almost gladiatorial armor... so I'll allow it this time. *grudging approval smiley*

Your titan Hyperion has very Jurassic Park hands in dromaeosaur mode; technically the fingers should be facing inward (they were "clappers not slappers") or possess a more wing-like structure in general. Common errors for Velociraptor by Tomozaurus on deviantART. Still very cool, and do I detect some Age of Reptiles influence?

    toys:
You've spoken of reasonable expectations; if they could be physically made would you plan on having the beasts be articulated at all, or just for the sake of the transformation? I would love to have articulated dinos. Perhaps to start out you could do two-packs of a dino and its titan, each with some basic articulation?

    Thank ya!

Awesome, I love talking to people at conventions, although it keeps me away from the sketches :D

    Much appreciated :)

ha, no hasbro hasn't contacted me in any way :)

To address a couple of your points, yeah I didn't realize the ref I was using was pretty outdated, and I will correct it with future iterations of Hyperion :)  And I do happen to have all of the age of reptiles works, so yes I'm a fan :D

As far as articulation in the dinosaurs, I'm trying to make sure the articulation points for the dino and humanoid modes are shared, and that the transformation points help with articulation as well... or that's the idea anyway. It is something I keep in mind, but separate dino figures aren't totally out of the question, because there are dinosaurs that are just dinos and not titans/giants/etc. Especially if I'm planning for small human soldiers to go along with the large guys.

These designs are incredible. I especially dig the Brachiosaur and the Wall, but all of them are awesome.

After doing a ton of research, I've found I'm not at that stage yet, of course that's the ultimate goal, all of the designs work as toys still :)

I'm at least refocused on the story aspect and will get back on the sequential story telling. If anyone has any advice on what media it should be released on I'm all ears :)  looking at digital comic, print comic, or webcomic.

The colors for Myrmidon, here we can see where the usual skeletal structure has been replaced with metal... :D
