Someone posted pics of their Trypticon and was asked about the hips, and replied "Mine are fine. Transformation is fine in all modes and moving the legs."

Shocked at the lack of Octane and Trypt pics together. One of both of their defining characteristics.
Tried applying some stickers, but man they're awful. Very thin and delicate, I gave up pretty quickly. Thankfully the moulded detail keeps him looking sexy.
Got mine today from Kapowtoys. The hips are stiff and I dare not move them, it feels like they will break. Time to seriously check that hip fix guide.
Just got an update for my pre-order. Looks like I won't see mine here in the US until Late July or maybe August. Online retailers have had him up stating "June Release" up to this point and now it's being pushed back a month, maybe two? I hope that's a QC thing from Hasbro for those hips - otherwise it's just misleading... -A.S.
A bunch of pages back somebody posted or re-posted a pic of the soft purple cross-shaped portion of plastic inside the hip joint looking like it had been melted or wrung out like a dishrag. Still unsure if that's the rule or the exception. I just ordered one for my son last night off BBTS so I'm hoping for the latter. I'm ready to perform surgery if necessary though.
