Much sturdier legs on Max. I get him in a pretty tough pose in my lastest review that Metro never would be able to hold, check it out (see link in sig).

I managed to get my hands on TR Blaster today.

You'll find me in da club!

As a standalone Mini-Base standard official version is fine but connecting to Max?
I can now confirm Blaster's ramps peg in better aligned on the right hand side ramp of city mode (no zigzag on the ramp) but, whilst in standard configuration, you either have to remove the helipad/tank or angle Max's leg away to create a bit of distance when connecting him.

    Official transformation: Inferior. Fanmode: Superior.
You get a less deathslide-like ramp angle, and the elevated leg platform rests on Max's wee Helipad for extra support (as well as creating space for it to fit).

I also tried him around the other side on one of the leg mounts. Straight out seemed a bit goofy (and/or too ambitious for someone who probably can't afford a Metroplex) so I decided against that. Luckily, despite a butt that would make Sir Mixalot blush that prevents orienting his legs a proper 90 degree angle, they can angle just far enough to make his torso the actual corner if you unpeg the back walls from his thighs.

Massively looking forward to the further expansion of Cybertron City, and also itching to see what kind of base mode Soundwave, Sixshot & Overlord can make!

Finally figured out what was bugging me on FM. His center chest is too wide. The original G1 figure the left and right boxes were bigger and the middle was smaller. It should be the same size as the abs/lower chest. This makes his head too big for his body.

I figured from when they announced the TR line some super hardcore fan will eventually have a video or pick with base mode all the tr toys, fort max and titan metro Plex AND G1 metroplex and fort max and scorponok and overlord.
I'm guessing somebody will be dedicated enough and wealthy enough to do it.

Had a go at a reoriented base fanmode (that turned out more mezzanine than multi-floor) with an eye to further extension down the line.
It's not as stable as OG fanmode but it does expose Blaster's back connection points for more possible attachments (which would likely, hopefully, stabilise him).

I hope we get another couple of leaders with Blaster-quality base modes rather than more PMOP-types, the expansion demands it!

    Just got mine!

Just curious, does anyone have trouble with the blue parts on the back of his legs sort of "sagging" out? One sort of came out, made the mistake of trying to push it back in real fast and ended up accidentally stressing this thin connector piece.

Wonder if anyone else has issues with Fort Max's head sitting flush on top of the body too?

Yep mine was sagging and I did the exact same thing. Put it back and put a little piece of duct tape on the clip to make it thicker and now it's rock solid

I won a Fort Max today at a local con...very impressive...
Is it just me, or is the Cerebros figure a winner?
I can't stop messing with it.

Unfortunately on that front it appears MegaMoonMan has put ramps on the back burner for now.

The only other upgrades I've seen so far are the PE weapons, their Master Sword & adapted Warden BFG. I'm holding off to see if anyone else picks up the gauntlet before I plump for the first gun that comes along (plus I really want a version of the Twin Blaster, so I'm hoping that happens too).
Fingers crossed some other 3Ps step up to the plate, I wouldn't mind some additional ramp-age myself at least some ground reaching road ramps for the arm launch ramps in city mode would do.

Still on base connections after a fashion, after finding out Blaster connects by ramp best on the right side of city mode but that (in normal base mode at least) the helipad causes hindrance, I'm wondering Hasbro has an official specific planned layout for the expanded Cybertron City or not?
