  Seriously though, the hip fix went great. The spring was a bitch to cut through, but I got it in the end. A piece of cardboard under the spring to prevent further damage, and it's all good now. The hips wouldn't even move before, but now they're fine. I might even go so far to say that they're a *tiny* bit too loose, but that's easily fixable with more cardboard if I need it.

 

Cheers man! I'll make sure I use relatively thick cardboard when I put him together!

I cut them. It took a bit of effort, but it worked just fine.

Full Tilt is so very purple. So, so purple.



He's a decent size though, I was pleasantly surprised. He scales well with deluxes.



I thought his Titan Master was missing from the box at first. FYI, Necro is sitting in Full Tilt's cockpit out of the box.

TR Bee is good but not great. I got the shapeways swivel upgrade and it makes in much better, but is a lot of work to get it done right.

 

Windblade's head on those voyagers makes it look like she's wearing a mechsuit.

So err'body's getting their Trypticons today, huh? I am extremely jelly, wish I could spare the money for him, especially after his most recent IDW appearance in Salvation.

I got the Wave 5 Voyagers today, Blitzwing's colours in particular are poppin' right the heck off, and also a set of Wave 5 Deluxes that I seem to have been sent by mistake. I've made ID Toys aware so I can return them, though I wish I had the money to spare right now to actually buy them instead.
Annoyingly I actually want Twin Twist–Misfire's tempting as well but I'm holding out for Takara's–and being able to see her in-hand has swayed me on replacing LG Windblade with the TR version as well, but they're just gonna have to stay in the box, taunting me until I get a returns label to send them back
