I got the Takara Legends LG 36 Soundwave today to go alongside the Hasbro version. Made some minor changes to it for my own enjoyment (would love to customise the Hasbro version but it would need much more attention). Painted the caps of the feet which were originally black and added much needed red to the shoulder cannon/sensor.

My LG-EX Repugnus and Grotusque just came in. Does anybody have a pic of them and the hasbro version? Especially Grotusque, I wonder if there was any change in them  

 

Last we heard, there was no difference between the two of them, much like previous figures of this nature. Something to do with the brand unification. If there are differences, please someone let us know. (If any, I'm guessing the painting on the robot modes of the heads.)

 

Looks like the only difference is that some of the matte paints used by Hasbro have been replaced by glossy paints (in the same colors):

 

Ah. I stand corrected. That said, shiny VS matte isn't always the groundbreaking change it might sound like. I think I'll stick with the matte coloring. Shiny stuff tends to chip and get ugly with time. =\
