It's a really good optimus tbh

One of them, anyway. Blitzwing is probably gonna be the number one for me.

 

But Megatron wasn't a triplechanger on G1...

if you're putting repolabels aside and speaking of the mainline variant . Great prime headsculpt , pretty posable besides the lack of waist swivel.
Less gorilla like proportions from his cw mold . You can invoke either g1 or g2 look just from the placements of the shoulder attachment similar to broadside ,and also from the accessories g1ish gun or g2 blade though in yellow . It's still easy to source out. Stickers are garbage but so is every other voyagers with stickers.
I'm very partial to the Titan master gimmick for him ,as there are alterations of him with silver/grey antennas so it works fine here . A solid figure by itself , I would say it's better than cw but loses out to classics in terms of being a standalone figure.
So while it isn't the best optimus , I would call it a good optimus . Because I'm biased to a good prime head sculpt and the recent stock faces for him is bad imo besides battlecore optimus .

 

Harvey update. Glad to report i was able to make a safe evac out of the neighborhood. Flood water was inching its way towards my home all day ystrdy only about a foot away this mrng. Half the complex flooded. Got out safely and now with my brother in his highrise apt building. Others not so fortunate had to be rescued by boat or helicopter. Hoping for the best. Head up Houston. We're going to get through this.

 

It really is. I did one little part swap on mine a few days ago and can't get over how much I love it even more after it.

 

Maybe just the Prime (meaning my regular Prime would be for sale).

 

Now if they only release the rumoured star convoy head ... I might quintuple dip

 

I'd be ecstatic if my TRU got EITHER of them. Haven't seen a damn thing post-Megatron wave.
