I did a post a long time ago about the other ball joints I use. INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH ball joints. The ones for this project are doll joints; I used to order in bulk at CRscrafts.com. They are really hard to connect! I also used them on this monstrosity, as long as I'm cross-promoting. Heavy/Scratch: - Helicarrier Broadside
That is awesome. He just looks so proportional, sometimes the heads or hands are too big or small, but his proportions just match up so well. Great looking figure ovrall so far, can't wait for alt mode pics.
Here's how his other modes look. I'll probably add hard points so his cannons can be attached along the wall on the back of his base. I'm also going to make his head master into a head master and make some ramps to cover the hollow inside of his calves. I'll make some fold out barricades that also fill in the holes in his forearms. I'd say he's 70% done.
Amazing but evey time I see your profile picture I assume that that's the face you make when you make customs.
Excellent as always. It's really enjoyable to learn from your threads as well as seeing it come to life.
Got an Airwave so I got to revise his head. Had to do a lot of trial and error on the head formation and neck pistons to get something that worked. Just need to paint, solidify alt modes and cover various gaps.
