Speaking of pieces, Had a question for anyone else who may also have gotten this guy.
Did anyone happen to end up with a Scorp with two LEFT leg panels and might consider a swap?
the two purple leg panels near his shins,
MY copy actually has two RIGHT panels.
Which means when I go to convert him into Scorpion mode,
His left leg's panel peg doesn't quite reach the port on his thigh.
Hoping to find someone with the same problem as me only opposite. that way we could help each other out. PS. You can actually see the big fat capitol L on both panels. where as one should have a capital R if it was to be the correct part.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.  







I'm a little bit on the perfectionist side of things so It bugs me more that it should. Because in all honesty, The problem barely affects him. The left and right panels are virtually the same part and also the exact same size. So left side still ports in in robot mode. You don't even notice it If you're not looking for it. It's also not visible at all in base mode. the only thing it affects is Scorpion mode. As the part is the reverse of what it should be, when you flip it around the body of the scorpion, the peg is now on the wrong side of the leg not allowing connection to the ONE port in his thigh. So that whole connection isn't very sturdy anyway even on the one side with the correct panel. I actually think the weirder thing is the design choice not to have his legs peg into the body literally anywhere else at all. Lol! So I'm not suffering too bad. Its better than him missing the piece entirely. It just still bugs me.

Randy has a loooooong history of getting toys with two of the same pieces. It's become a recurring joke for people who get a toy with two right hands to say they "accidentally got Randy's version".

post a pic if you can. i still dont know what part you are describing. do you mean the extra pieces that form the shield?

 

It would be the purple panels those shield pieces actually attach too. the ones that wrap around the leg. TFW Being weird about photos at the moment.

 

ok i havent even transformered the ones i have. so without pics i don't even know what to look for. maybe try pm'ing them.

i checked both of the ones i have and im sorry but mine are all correct. hopefully you got it from target because if so you can just return it or exchange it.

No actually I got mine from BBTS.

Bump. Newly edited with actual photos of the problem.
I cant imagine this is the only one out there like this.
Hoping if I hold out long enough I may find someone who can help.  

 

How long have you had it? I suggest emailing BBTS about the issue. Their customer service is pretty good.

 

I concur, I've had great success and smooth service with them in the past (Though its been a few years since I had a complaint they took care of, so I hope it hasn't changed, lol)

 

I got mine from bbts and all they are doing for me is a return. I have 2 and one the tail can't attach because one of the posts to do it is literally nonexistent.

 

I've only had him for about two days. I did email them Yesterday.  

 

I suspect they will get you sorted out!

 

Oh I bet they will. or at least try to.   But I actually came to find out this morning that the innermost cardboard tray he came in already got thrown away. I still have the Box yes just not the card board tray. So I think that will probably be a problem.
