It's been mentioned that there appears to be pics of the individual bots on the top of his box. Edit:
On that subject, the individual bot modes will be the deciding factor for me. I don't like leaving things combined heh.
Don't think I've ever been happier to be wrong! Would love to see them do the Seacons/Piranacon like this, imagine how monstrous they could make them look...
I know its been said but since a lot of people been asking how tall is Devy again. I remember you said between 18-20 inches, but can you confirm again please
The fact that people keep thinking that Devs doesn't separate into six vehicles that also turn into a robot is a good sign, essentially meaning that the combination appears to be quite tight and well assembled.
Thinking the same thing! It'll be the closest thing we get to "Official Masterpiece" anyway. I've felt, since hearing about this Devi, that HAS/TAK designed this one at roughly 17(+/-) inches tall to appease the fans demanding a Masterpiece figure.
That... really looks pretty good. for $149???!! That looks amazing. I know Hasbro loves to Photoshop the living hell out of their press images, so I'm sure it wont actually look that nice, and I can tell they are playing with angles to make it look better, but still....
Combiner Wars Devastator looks AWESOME, and so much more affordable than the 3P's. If they re-color it, I wonder if a G2 yellow/orange or a Diaclone version might be on their way. I'm not ecstatic about Mixmaster being different, and I don't care for clip-on wheels, but I can live with it. The head is a bit smallish, but maybe CrazyDevy will make him a larger, light-up head with a visor/non-visor option; they are called "CrazyDEVY" after all. So far, Devy looks really good, and I want him.
His head still tiny though. I don't think you can make a bigger head for him. I mean look how close it is already to the crane. I guess maybe the crane can come off.
Maybe they could give him a neck, just up to the point that the base of the crane ends, to give it some clearance. I wouldn't mind losing some head articulation for a bigger noggin, but as it is, it's not that small.
I'm sure a 3P company will come up with add-ons for this figure. There is no way they won't. Parts to bulk the Mixmaster foot out, a head upgrade, better wheels, etc... He looks pretty good as is though. Can't wait to pre-order.
I'm all in on this guy, he's gorgeous! Yup updating Mixmaster to a front discharge mixer is a nice touch. It's really the only construction vehicle that's had a dramatic aesthetic change over the last 30 years.
This looks awesome but so much for scale I guess. Devy around the same size as Metroplex is just crazy. Oh well...he'll probably still scale well with the Masterpiece Line at least.
Why are some saying Long Haul is a Leader class figure when the description clearly states 6 Voyager class figures?
^ Probably because "Leader" is shorter to type than "one of those stupid huge Voyagers like they had in Beast Hunters."
