Now this sounds more likely than a clearance sale of titans. Wish we would be so lucky to have that but I think those times are long gone.

Same. I'm expecting them to cancel my order any day now due to a "technical issue."

Many Targets also won't carry them at all, only the stores with more shelf space.

The last time a Titan went to Target it didn't stick around long enough to go to Clearance.

    Same for Sky Lynx.

I've been to a few smaller Targets near here that had spots for ER Skorpy. Dunno if they had stock as those sold quick, but if the units move better than lower priced or smaller items they'll make the room.

I'd say Ark and Rodimus showing up in stores is a good sign about how things went last time.

At the Target I went to the employee checked to see if Rodimus Prime was in the back and she told me that the shelving space for Rodimus Prime was being removed and he was going to become available only on Target\'s website. I hope the Ark will not end up in the same situation, being exclusive to Target\'s website.

It's hard to say. I've already been to one Target that just did their reset early and there was no spot for the Titan or Commander class on the new labels. There was a spot for the World's Collide pack and the MPM, so there's no real rhyme or reason to it, some stores are just not going to carry everything I suppose.

I think that will be the case for a lot of stores, but we know for a fact that Rodimus and the Ark have been spotted in some locations already so they are not going to be online only. It is a possibility that even these stores that don't have a spot for Rodimus will have a revision on their planogram in the future that adds him back in, too, so there's still a chance.

Out of the 3 Targets near me, only 1 of them had the shelf tag for ER Scorponok last year. The other 2 only had labels for Sky Lynx.

I think it’s a great new original character and there was no way I wasn’t going to get it, but $170 is a lot for a mainline figure. Alt mode is smaller in hand than I expected but heavier than expected. Bot mode is a nice size. I’m always a little underwhelmed with titan class figures once I get them and remember they are just expensive oversized mainline figures. I collect Masterpiece and Macross too and see more value in a complex, premium plastic/diecast painted $170 figure than a titan class. That being said I do enjoy the clever accurate design and simplicity of the WFC figures. It’s nice to be able to just pick up a figure and not have to spend 30 minutes or needing to watch a YouTube video to transform it. I also have no problem handing my mainline figures to my young son to play with, even the $170 ones. I won’t even let him hold my Fans Toys or Bandai DX Chogokin figures.

Fortunately Brickseek did work for me. I have about 10 Targets I can drive to in a 30 mile radius of where I live. It appears yesterday, 3 of those stores probably got 1 case each of The Ark. Fortunately one of those stores was the one closest to me, so I got it. Still no sign of Rodimus yet. But it does puzzle me about last year. I was able to find ER Scorponok in a very similar way. Only a couple stores in my area got 1 or 2 shipments of it, all that sold out pretty much instantly. Whereas it seems EVERY store got MPM Starscream (a similarly priced big ticket item, but admittedly takes up less shelf space), and probably had at least 3-4 of them in every store. Sadly, those hardly sold and went on clearance, as did the MPM Ratchet soon after. One would think, that even though a WFC Titan takes up more space, if those are flying off shelves at full price, you would stock more of those, and less of the MPM's which aren't selling...

I'm glad I got the Ark from Pulse before the price hike. Because yeah I'm excited for it but the price I paid feels like the ceiling for this type of figure. But then this'll also be only the second Titan I've paid full price for out of the three I'll own.

Maybe her store, but with how well Sky Lynx was selling at retail I doubt they'd give up on that spot before even trying a second figure.

Mine was shipped without an outer box, too. First time that’s happened with Target. Fortunately it survived the trip with only one piece of tape broken.

Oh yeah, FYI...one of the reasons I didn't switch my PO to Target even when they had stock coming sooner was the listing says this:

    upload_2021-7-27_16-7-6.png

I thought more people had noticed that when it started becoming a concern with Amazon and Target.
