This, THIS is my dream display, you have my taste!

Where did you get those coneheads from?

Pitty we never got a leader Ratchet, he'd go well in your Bayverse display!

Thanks for the kind words, glad you like! :D

The Coneheads were made by third party company iGear and were basically heavily retooled knock-offs of the original Takara MP-03 Seeker mold. I got them secondhand off eBay before the prices on them skyrocketed to ridiculous levels. They go for a pretty penny as a set these days (Thrust is especially highly sought after and expensive). iGear had talked about possibly making a 2nd run of their Coneheads but sadly failed to garner enough preorders to make it worth their while, so they canceled the idea.

Agreed that it sucks that we never got an Ultra or Leader sized figure for Ratchet as the guy really deserves one, having appeared in all four live action movies thus far. I've been thinking of commissioning a Radicons here to make a more screen accurate Ratchet for me and I have gathered all the necessary component parts to do so, but it's an expensive proposition and my wallet's already stretched thin. :lol

I invested in two more wood and glass curio cases (to match the large main one I already have) to I can move and display my Masterpiece Autobots on one side and my Masterpiece Decepticons on the other. I'll update this thread with more photos when I get everything in hand and set up!

Thanks! I can't take credit for making that Motormaster, just arming him up with weapons and performing a little DIY repair (the Shapeways ball-jointed neck had snapped/twisted off so the head was just hanging on by a thread, but I drilled a hole through the neck post and added a new and stronger ABS plastic ball-jointed neck and now he's good as new).

In preparation of FansProject Warbot WB-002 Steel Core's re-release and trailer (I sprung for the Deluxe package with SC + trailer), been messing around with my Fort Max kitbash using Steel Core as a base (I already have Perfect Effect Warden but like my kitbash enough to keep working on him). Modded a new chest-filler for him so his little dude can go off and explore on his own. :D

    Previous work here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/898524-idw-fort-max-kitbash-using-fp-steel-core.html

    Thanks, glad you like! :D

Also rearranged the top of my glass curio cabinet Bayverse displays.

    "Let's roll!"

Gary: "You ever get the feeling that the universe is out to get us?"

Steve: "Some days more than others...."

    Optimus: "I'LL KILL YOU!!!!"

    :D

I commandeered PE Warden's display stand (and kitbashed together some spare MP Seeker clear display stands and a main display arm to hold up Prime using a vintage 80's GI Joe tank turret :D ).

Here's my current TFP Bots display though I have some space to fill in two more Vehicons, I think.

A shot of the top shelf of that same display. The "Big Three" of FE Optimus (with Deluxe Optimus in truck mode), FE Starscream (along with "Seeker clones" Takara AM Skywarp and Thundercracker plus Voyager Starscream in jet alt mode), and AM Final Battle Megatron (with Deluxe Megatron in alt mode).

    I love these figures!

I disliked how Arcee's chest halves didn't tab into place anywhere securely so I put a simple metal pin in the holes between them and now they're clipped in pretty snugly.

Fort Maximii (PE Warden and FP Steel Core). Or at least Steel Core is cosplaying as Fort Max until my Renderform blue Steel Magnum head comes in. :D

Custom Human Alliance Barricade (has two hands) with Legends/Legion Barricade, HA Frenzy, RPMS Barricade, DOTM Deluxe Barricade's mechtech claw weapon, and Robot Replicas Barricade's wheel mace weapon.

Takara Human Alliance Soundwave (with DOTM Deluxe Soundwave's mechtech satellite sonic cannon and kitbashed leg extensions which can be attached/removed without any harm to the base figure). Still need to add more car parts to the leg extensions and paint up Soundwave with metallic silver.

Also have a Tomica Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (with working gullwing doors and wheel spring-suspension!), EZ/Legends Ravage, HA Laserbeak, and HA Dylan Gould (Patrick Dempsey aka McDreamy).

Displayed in the background are custom DOTM Leader Megatron (by ForgottenForest) and custom HFTD Leader Starscream (by FrogDNA).

I love the customs and the care you obviously put into your display. Keep up the great work. Very inspiring.

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated!

Yeah, I've been lately feeling that less is more, and seeing very clean and organized collections such as yours with a minimalist style partly inspired me to clean up and reorganize my own displays. A sea of plastic crack with robots stacked back to back and on top of each other has been losing its appeal to me (I readily admit my glass cabinet displays suffer a lot from this at the moment).

That and my wife has been hinting that I should try to make my displays more on the mature adult collector side than borderline hoarder side. :lol  Not that I blame her at all. This way, I can appreciate my figures a lot more on their own as well as with each other without it being too cluttered and confusing to the eye. Still a lot of work left to do though!

My latest acquisition (please excuse the poor quality photo): the iGear IG-TF007 Generation 1 Ark Playset (with Reprolabels)! Got it secondhand off eBay (for a very reasonable price given its usually insane aftermarket cost) and absolutely love it! Wish I had gotten it sooner!

I moved it into my glass curio display immediately and populated the Ark with my Season 1 Classics Autobots (with iGear PP01 Faith Leader as my go-to Classics Optimus Prime).

I'm trying to find room to fit Generations Leader Jetfire and Takara MP-08 Grimlock in there somehow but don't think that's gonna happen, sadly. Still, I love how this looks!
