There really is no Difference Abd here’s why your wrong .....

Joker Was already “ascending“ on the helicopter ladder when Batman hooked that Gargole to his leg, had it been the other way around Batman would have no fault but because Joker was already on that latter it’s no different then throwing a lasso around him and pulling him off

And a ricochet analogy doesn’t work very well either because it’s not exactly reasonable to assume he could get the path of a ricochet,, But it doesn’t take a genius to know that if you pull a guy down walking ip the ladder he’s going to fall
I don’t think that guy was knocked out

Yea, circus clown had the choice of dropping the bomb, running, and still dying. Because he's not fast enough to out run a bomb.

Unlikely as we'll ever see a proper third movie in Burton's planned Batman trilogy I'm hoping that they'll at least bring back the proposed Comic series in the Burtonverse where we see new adventures set after Batman Returns and including burton takes on characters like Batgirl,Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy that was presented some years ago. That way we'll get some type of closure.

So, then what's the point of pointing out he's knocked out, if he is dead either way?

Unless Burton himself is running the book what’s the point

Yea, and I replying to the both of you. What difference is there between the guy being knocked out, and not knocked out? He's dead either way.

The difference would cone into play if, only if, the Jokers situation was he described

No no, about the choice thing.

What difference does it make in his choice to die, or not die, if he, he the clown, is knocked out, or not-knocked out?

I believe the implication was that the joker had a choice or an “out”.......

Anyway before this get more confusing neither one of them could have altered what happened at that point

his only choice was to give up and let go if the latter?

    and fall,

Hilarious, it was no choice at all,the weight of the Gargoyle pull him off the ladder, sane result

His choice was to tell his goons to lower the copter so he could grab onto the cathedral.

Besides, who cares. He's a blood murdering psychopath and got what he deserved.

    Right
But his leg wasn’t strapped To the gargoyle at that time

he was already on the latter and in the air when Batman did that

Oh there’s no question about that

I gotta be honest, I really, really love the Legends of the Batman line. Some of Kenner's most creative stuff.
