Yeah, title should be more like "Tim Allen would do a Toy Story 4" or "Tim Allen would like to voice Buzz again"

Toy Story 3 ended how it should have ended. No need for another.

Interesting, instead of TS 4 I think it might be a new Buzz Lightyear of Star Command film.

Maybe it's for the Toy Story short film that's going to be the opening flick for Cars 2 was hinted at.

Anyway, I don't know about doing Toy Story 4 (though I'm sure Pixar's incapable of effing it up), but I could sure go for a Toy Story 2.5 that uses the original plot for Toy Story 3, which was about a Buzz Lightyear recall.

Please, no more Toy Story films after #3. Please!

I can understand a Toy Story short to be shown before Cars 2 in theaters, or even a TV series, but not another full-length sequel.

That could be very awesome, but I'd like it to have a buffer of the Buzz we know watching it in awe!

Pixar is now owned by Disney, and they seem to be falling into the same sequeal mania trap that canned most of their animation departments in the 90's and lost the company a lot of money. They've already canceled 2 original pixar movies that were in planning in favor of sequeals. They want known properties and guaranteed money. Creativity doesn't matter Disney is board run and want guarantees on their investments. The only hope may be that since they have aquired Marvel now they may use some of those properties or some of the other known properties from other disney purchased companies. Otherwise expect Cars 3, Toy Story 4 and 5, Monsters Inc 3, and Increadibles 2. Also Pixar will probably start animating Disney properties like Mickey.

This. I feel the last 3 films have done what they can with Woody and his wild west theme. It's time we go into space and fight the evil forces of Zurg! I feel Buzz's universe hasn't been as explored as it should.

Not to trash you, but notice how that recall plot is very similar to Toy Story 2. One of the main toys is taken far away, and the other toys go to rescue them. Then the stolen toy meets others where he is.

Allen will no doubt return for the Toy Story short for Cars 2, but I doubt it's for a 4th Toy Story. Very unlikely. Lee Unkrich said so himself, that there's no plans for a 4th film. While there'll be Toy Story Toons and shorts, no more films. While Toy Story 3 proved even 11 years later, Pixar won't mess up the film series that put it on the map, please, no Toy Story 4. 3 ended too perfectly for it.

I agree. As much as I love Toy Story, I think it's time time to end the series. The end of the 3rd one was the perfect ending to Toy Story. It almost brings you to tears. The Toy Story trilogy was one of the greatest stories in not just children's movies, but all movies. Because I love the movies so much, I would like to see a 4th one, but I know it isn't the right thing to do. Toy Story should to end with the great ending we got in Toy Story 3.

lol this. But seriously, Toy Story 3 was a masterpiece. Making another would ruin it.

    This.

Pixar said they were going to try to keep Toy Story alive by doing some other stuff. All I remember was they were going to make a short that would come before Cars 2 IIRC.

No number 4 please. It seems that movies that have more then 3 in the series goes down hill after the third one.
That said, I'm glad to hear that Tim Allen will still be doing the voice. It really sucks when they continue the series with different cast-members and/or voice-actors.

I don't see how TS3 ended the story. All the toys are still together, they just have a new owner. Its not like Andy was that important to the story that another owner couldn't be in his place. Woody could still whine that they are "____'s toys". If the toys were split up, then that could be the end.

I'm sure people whined how TS2 would be ruined when TS3 was being made. Guess they were wrong. Why can't TS4 be just as good as 1-3?
