When Prime passed the Matrix and died, he's final words were "Till that day, Till All Are one" what did Prime meant by that? Was he mentioning something we didn't know at the time, using the All Spark as referral?

I've always perceived "Til all are one" as the end of the Cybertronian race. The day when all sparks return to Primus.

    Basically, extinction.

On one hand I see it as when all sparks return to the source as a glorious enriched whole. But on the other hand I also take it as a hope of Optimus that Cybertronians might eventually find unity again as a species. Certainly something like Unicron should've made all Cybertronians of whatever faction work together as one.

I always thought it meant an end to the wars , when there would be no more Autobots or Decpeticons as they are reunited as Cybertronians, Til all ( the two factions) are one ( ending to the split into factions and becoming once again just cybertronians as they always were).

Your a big fan of links eh? So is he ban from bring topic he like up again? Shoot....i wasted my 'if Brawn is really dead' topic.

Any ways. originally it had nothing to do with Spark and Primus it was just a mystic sounding line of dialog that sounded good. Wasn't till BeastWars gave G1 some awesome retcons.

"Till that day, Till All Are one"
The day everyone all goes back to the All Spark and join as one giant spark. And everyone is even and equal and no war are fought and all fighting is done cause everyone is one guy.

Which i don't know....I don't think 'Till all are one' is the friendlyist phrase. Cause correct me if i'm wrong. But the all spark are Primus' spark, right? And that means everyone converging into one being. That's don't seem like a good thing to me. Generally in Scifi. The turning people to Hive mind, or single mind, or using bodies is bad right. This is more or less what the Brog in startrek want and their bad guys.

I hate to be the guy that corrects others...

but according to the script, and how I hear it.....the line is

    Until that day...
    Until all are one...

Er, it means when the Autobots and Decepticons are united. What else would it mean?

It probably means peace. Till all are one means all Transformers can agree on something as a collective mind

I always saw it as when the transformers died out becoming one in the after life, returning to the well of sparks (Or the matrix depending on which continuity). I always saw that as a happy ending still. I see how the wars ending a possible meaning. I just like the extinction one better.

I definitely believe it means unity and return to the well of all sparks and the sort.

When both Decepticons and Autobots get killed, do their spark merge together and form some kind of peace?

As a kid I interpreted it as a form of heaven or the end of the war and all Cybertrionians get along. So Peace on Cybertron I guess.

The way I've always seen it is that sparks are fragments of the Allspark, Primus or whatever your chosen source is and go out into the universe to learn and grow and experience existence as individual beings. When they expire and return to merge back with the source they take all that extra stuff along with them and the source becomes further enriched because of it.
Good, bad, Autobot, Decepticon, I don't really think any of that matters when a spark returns to the source of all sparks.

One of the things that I've liked most about Transformers is how strange the line is between their differences and similarities to humans. Turning into a hive mind is a human fear - maybe it's not a robot fear.

It would be more interesting still if it were a robot fear, but this was the ultimate destiny of the race hardwired into their brains. Maybe Primus only exists once all other Transformers are dead - the last one inherits all sparks. There's a lot that can be done with these ideas.
