Yes indeedery, September is once again upon us, which means it's time for me to go out, buy a calendar and KO it while embellishing it with YOUR pictures!

A quick recap for those who don't know, for the past 4 years I've done a fan made calendar. I ask people to submit their favourite picture from over the last year to appear in the calendar!

    There's your recap.

Fan Art: - UKTD Thread 2017 Calendar thread!

Fan Art: - UKTD Thread 2018 Calendar thread!

    tikgnat's 2019 Calendar thread

    ;)

Seriously though, I ask people to submit their favourite picture from over the last year to appear in the calendar! Submissions should be kept in this thread, just so I can keep track of everything (but I do take some over Twitter too). Then I choose pictures based on awesomeness, humour and variety... to take you through a 'journey' throughout the year (or some other pretentious bollocks). It's a showcase of the UK TF scene (with the occasional overseas visitor, we're inclusive on this calendar!) Of course submissions are open to everyone, but priority goes to UKTD regulars, Twitter 'mutuals', friends, and bribes.

I have no idea what the theme of the 2020 calendar will be, (except of course featuring people favourite pictures from the last year) so feel free to come up with a suggestion or two. Shitbot seems to be a solid theme though... Shout out to @IronicHide, @scubaboy31, @Napalm, @Yankee0, @Sixo, @incapable hulk, @Avon, @Brum Bot, @RobotoChan (are you even on TFW anymore?) @Maz and @kgorman79!

I was very pleased with last years calendar (the highlight being the Build your own Shitbot), but it wasn't nearly perfect (for starters the circuit board background for the 1992 pages isn't obvious enough and some of the day are too dark to realistically be used) so really, my first job is to make a list of what went wrong, and make sure it doesn't happen again this year. Also, I have bought a craft plotter/cutter so if I do make another sort of build your own Shitbot, I'll see if I can't make it perforated or something. Gotta get the cutter working first though...

Costs... IIRC last years was £15 (plus £2 P&P) which hopefully I will stick to... but with the looming Brexshit bollocks who can say? Well, my printer can, but I'll have to get something to him first eh?

Why be a redshirt, said the Vehicon, when you can be a star?

Not a real submission as I’m kind of geographically challenged, but following this thread with interest :)

Exciting! I'm still at the start of whittling mine down, but here are a couple(?!) of first choices... I'll get it down to one. Can we have portrait shots, as I have loads of those too...

Thanks for the submissions so far, this is a slow start so far, seeing as I'm doing the second volume of cards and a 3D To the Death Cover at the same time! Oh well. Third world problems eh?

It's too small! I need full size versions to save and peruse through!

Nearly missed this. Please put me down for a 2020 calendar - Please include my birthday again. Once you've got a cost, I'll get it from here.

    Cheers.

Heard that before... But as to the matter at hand, my apologies, I will retake the photo at some point (lost the original when my phone got nicked).

Really haven’t done much this year as it’s been a bit hectic to say the least! I’d say the alt mode one is probably my fave, and with your sweet editing skills, a possibility.

Thanks for your hard work Kit, your G1 Boxart poster will be going up in the inevitable man cave.

If this isn't landscape enough, I think I've got an uncropped version.

Hi Kit, Its not landscape but if deemed good enough, wondered if you could work with it?

GAAAAH. I had a nice big reply going and Firefox crashed. Good eh?

OK, I haven't checked this thread in a while, so I didn't know there were so many submissions! Good stuff.

As to where I am, I have done all 12 pages of the calendar and aside from the picture selection and barring any more typos (cheers @Rodentus prime) the pages as you see them here are pretty much final...

I have also decided on a couple of extra pages...

    13 Extra Boxart Poster.jpg

    14 Extra 3D UK#224.jpg

And yeah... you may have seen these before because I was hawking them as A3 posters at TFN this year. But hear me out, I have a perfectly logical explanation for this... it's because I'm fucking lazy. But because one of the pages is 3D page it does mean I will be including and pair of 3D glasses with every calendar! Then you can look at all the lovely 3D pictures I've done over the years.

Which means all I have left to do is the front and back covers... which reminds me I need to gather the materials for it... (by 'gather materials' I obviously mean Google). If I can't find the right size image to steal I'll have to *gasp* scan the image myself... although... thinking about it I think I have a better idea... hmmmmmm..

    Edit
Oh and I keep on forgetting, every calendar purchase this year will be entered into a prize draw! The Prize? None other than a MISB Siege Ratchet!
