I'm going to the Sunday showing at 12:00 at a local theater. I got to see the movie on the big screen back in 2018 with my dad so I figured this time around I'll take my younger brothers to see it.

Let me know how it is. On the Fathom website it says there is new content but I'm sceptical of what it might be. If it's any good I may go to the second showing .

From what I've gathered, it's a compilation of stop-motion videos recreating scenes from the movie with action figures. I'll definitely let you know how it goes.

Managed to convince my sister to go with me so I wouldn't be a weird nerd going alone. We used to watch G1 episodes and the movie on VHS all the time from rental places as a kid, and even if she's not into Transformers these days, it still has nostalgic value for our childhood together. I'm very appreciative of her for coming!

Unfortunately the only movie theaters within close distance to where i live are not showing it. So I guess I will be viewing it from my home tv.

I went to this. Sound only came out of the front speaker of the theater and 5 minutes of the movie was cut out during Megatron and his Decepticons being reformatted by Unicron, and all of Starscream's Coronation and death. It had digital glitches and was cut off like it was streaming to the Movie Theater. It felt like something someone would do at their house on their computer, not a Movie Theater for that price.

    I
I kind of got the same vibe. Luckily I did not have any issues during playback although it started 10 minutes late. It was nice to go but I will pass if it ever gets shown at theaters again.

Man, that sucks. I'd have asked for a refund or maybe for a free ticket for something later.

It was my kids birthday party. 19 of us there in a sold out theater. I asked them to fix the sound and they couldn't, it was an issue from Fathom. I did get 19 free movie tickets as compensation. It sucked the kids first movie experience of it had to be like that. Technology changing made the experience worse not better.

There were some new Stop Motion skits with the SS86 toys shown before the movie that were cool. One with Jazz, another with Scourge and the Sweeps talking about who is Bombshell and Skywarp, etc.

That's weird that they would blame Fathom. My screening didn't have any of those issues.

My theater manager said they downloaded the movie to a hard drive for the next showing and that sound worked on all the speakers on their hard drive copy. I didn't bother him any more after that, since he gave me 19 movie passes, but the story raised more questions than answers and I didn't want to waste his time. It would have been nice if they handed out the free movie posters there, but our theater didn't have them. They had a cool full sized display poster but the Theater wasn't allowed to give it away, and told me they return the posters to Fathom, which I don't really believe.

I didn't even realize they were giving away a free poster. I guess my theater didn't have any either as I got nothing upon entering the theater. I wish I had known about the poster as I would have at least asked.
