I had made it aware in a couple threads I was looking for a tru mp prime. Thunderclash messaged Saying he had one. We agreed on 140 shipped through paypal as gift or i could send as purchased goods and cover fees. Sent as goods, covered the fees. Three hours later he refunded my money with no explanation and stopped answering PMs. Avoid.
I purchased an SG Prime and SG Magnus from Thunderclash. We spoke for a bit and he seemed nice and legit. He even said that it was safer to send the money "for goods" rather than as a gift (which I did). However, I have not heard from him since and the recent forum posts worried me so I checked my paypal account. Paypal had put a hold on the funds for investigation because he was not US verified. I e-mailed him about everything and got no response. The items were supposed to be shipped out by the time of my writing this but they have not been. Therefore, I have opened a paypal dispute. He seemed like a nice and trustworthy guy but all of the information presented here paints a different picture. Avoid. Edit: I have opened a paypal claim against Thunderclash. He is not responding to messages/e-mails from me or paypal. So now my money is going to be tied up in this paypal dispute for the next two weeks. Avoid at all costs.
Another member also have purchase issues with "thunderclash" too. he bought one of the iGear Coneheads from him a few days ago. "but PayPal opened a fraud investigation against him. Apparently, he's non-U.S. and unverified. He has yet to respond to their claim (or request for further information)" I wasn't sure if he was still legit so I just left my previous posting of me SEMI purchasing those items from him so others wont be paying for the same again just incase. And when his ebay feedback reply finally came in, the ebay person have no idea what I was talking about. He contacted me again yesterday to pay but I told him with all these issues I can no longer trust him and that he would need to ship first , once I recieved the item I will then pay. No reply back yet.
I'm the one Happynick is talking about. PayPal opened an investigation against him the day after I paid. He apparently tripped something in their fraud/security system that alerted them to him, which is why they actually opened the claim. I only found out about it by logging in to PayPal yesterday. He's a non-U.S., unverified customer. Fortunately, I used my credit card via PayPal so I'm protected. PayPal has his funds on hold and contacted him a couple of days ago to request further information, but he has yet to respond to them, me or seemingly anyone for that matter.
On Nov 1st I believe; I sent him payment of 140 via paypal for SG G2 Prime, only email he has replied to since has been when I told him the payment was sent the next message I tried to send him got no reply and further messages came about with his inbox being full. Assumingly because of the sheer amount of people this seems to have happened to. Happily I got another member to sell me the figure but now I will be waiting till like the 13th for Paypal to decide what they will do. :/ Could be using that money to buy Insecticons.
