Don't forget the light up eyes and the projector chest symbol, of the TCs logo and the Jaga hologram so you can recreate

Then again I mean let's look at the original and see how feasible it really is

I mean I guess if they look at the toy for inspiration they could pull it off

Personally I’d opt for any vehicle over the playset. That’s always my position, I prefer vehicles but as long as it’s between 0 and 1k I’m game. 1k is my ceiling on most things like this.

Ah the old play set, yet another thing my mother gave away before we moved when I was in high school. Had the Tank as well.

If an Ultimates Cat's Lair existed, the only way I could avoid buying it would be to get out of Thundercats entirely and sell my Ultimates collection. I don't think I could pass and still be able to enjoy the rest of the collection. It wouldn't feel whole. I have Snake Mountain sitting in my closet for the same reason.

It's hard to picture them making a Cat's Lair, though. At least not one that was based on the animation. It certainly wouldn't be able to garage vehicles under the paws. It's not just the height and width, it's the depth that is a huge problem. The playset would be all stone courtyard with almost no room for an interior space. Even the toy had that issue.

I would be happy with a Mumm-Ra transformation playset. The big skull, some Spirits of evil statues, and the reflecting pool.

I looked at some pictures of the Feliner and that's kind of ugly.

Skycutters would be cool, but how are they going to make one that Slithe can ride? They'd have to have a hidden compartment to accommodate his tail.

That’s kind of my issue and why I have Grayskull and Snake Mountain.

my solution to this is to find mini versions of large items. For motu, I picked up the eternia minis packaging of Grayskull and Snake mountain, as well as the real riders motu vehicles, alongside the worlds smallest figures. These will be in the corner of my club grayskull display.

I would love to recreate the above with Thundercats merch

The new Lion-O inherited the Mattel figure issues again (abs gaps and shorter height because the compacted center pieces), the translation at the digital sculpt should've been from the 4H prototype with better proportions and not from the atrophied Mattel figure.

    Fix it please Super7!

My prediction is that they'll each be single releases, bundled with Snarf and Snarfer.

It looks like the prototype's ab crunch wouldn't have worked, which is why they changed it for production. I would have rather had them start over from scratch and use a diaphragm cut, rather than an ab crunch. and tone down the crazy lats.

It should work in the same way as any other MOTUC buck, there was no need to compact the piece and atrophy the proportions.

If we did get something toy-inspired, the door would need to be 8" tall, which would make the entire base around 32" tall, 24" wide, maybe around 12" deep.

I think it’s equally feasible by comparison to the snake mountain. I’d get it would run $1000 easily. Likely to be similar in style to the LJN version.

i would definitely by one, as this would also mark my last great “wants” of my collecting.

Nice to see the cannon telescoping. I can’t remember who was worried about that.

This thing is so unbelievably big.
