Slithe looks so cool. I can't wait to get it. Did he say anything about shipping any of the waves soon? Also, since MOTU is getting a brand new updated line I wonder if Mattel will try the same with TCats? If they did would this screw up Super 7?
I don’t think Mattel can do anything with T-Cats Super7 has the license. I have no idea on shipping dates.
he gave us estimated factory shipping dates for the next 3 waves. But boat times used to be 20-30 days, now it can be double that. So who knows. So wave 3 should be arriving in September, wave 2 in October, and wave 4 in November. But I wouldnt be surprised if there are more delays.
Mattel doesn't own the license for Thundercats. Like S7 they had to license it from WB. So most likely we won't see anything from another company in the form of a revival unless WB media tries to do something with it. Unfortunately it's probably not high on their radar right now after how badly the 2011 series seemed to flop.
They just tried a different direction with Roar which also seemed to flop AND seemed to have no merchandise at all.
Oh yeah... Roar... I had actually wiped that abomination from my mind. I get they thought they were being funny, but it just didn't work for me... plus some of it felt mean-spirited rather than comedic.
It was actually given to me as a gift so I'm not sure where it came from! Might have been HMV Music here in Canada before they went out of business though....I've had it for a while.

looks like S7 is still on track. Wave 3 ships from factory in July, S7 will get it in either august or sept and start sending them out. Wave 2 ships from the factory in August, so it’ll be 1 month behind wave 3. So, hopefully we’ll have wave 3 in hand in sept, wave 2 in oct.
Beat me to it! Great news I can’t believe I’ll have this many Thundercats by the fall. It’s been a long wait.
