The only figure so far that I passed on is capt. Crackers, to me it does not look like a $45 figure. As far as the Breserkers and Lunatics, I have not reached there episodes, but looking at some images of them, I will have to wait and see what S7 prototypes look like.
I'm all in on this line, except for the Mutants, which I always hated, and the aforementioned Lion-O and Tygra, since I have the Bandai ones, and always viewed those two guys as the tallest of the bunch anyway.
If S7 does a Cat's Lair it will be $600+. I would buy one if it looked like the show and has flighlight type of eyes and electronics on the inside. Anyway, S7 should at least reveal the names of the next two waves, so we can have a better understanding of where this line is going.
A cats lair in scale with the thundertank would have to be absolutely massive. The claw alone would be huge. It’d probably end up being 5+ feet tall I’d think...I really don’t expect to see something like that in such a niche toy line. I am preordering every character though in hopes of lunattacks someday!
Well, I have entered the fray on this, all be it a little late. I put in a pre order for Cheetara. Thinking of adding a few more, but not every one. If I went all in my better half would kill me ! what’s the chance of a re-release of waves 1 and 2 at some point?
Wave 2 hasn't come out yet and will actually be delayed...wave 3 and 4 will probably come out before wave 2. As for a reissue of wave 1, they are talking about reissuing Lion-O and Panthro but I haven't heard anything about Mumm-Ra or Jackalman.
Even though Wave 2 is sold out at BBTS, there will be people dropping their orders that you can pick up if you're paying attention.
Just saw on Super7’s IG that Lion-O, Panthro and the yet-to-be-released Mumm-Ra the Ever Living preorders reopen!
There's now full wave 2 and individual wave 2 preorders open again at BBTS. BBTS definitely over orders and doesn't put them all up for PO. For the TMNT Waves and the Conan the Barbarian Wave 1 figures they were both 'sold out' until they arrived and they had more stock. I'm putting some in there just in case, but will try to pick them up in person at the store when they come out.
God damn it. I’ve had Cheetara on PO for a while now...was worried she’d get lonely...so I just PO’d Lion-O, Panthro and Tygra...and then Slithe and Mumm-Ra so they have somebody to fight. C’mon Snarf and the kids! Gonna keep this one small like my MOTU stuff, though.
What exactly will be the variant on Panthro and Lion-O? Will Panthro have the correct color shorts(hopefully)? I missed the first wave, but will be grabbing these two.
I'm wondering too. Looks like Panthro's shorts are fixed and Lion-O has a more cartoony hair (and possibly skin?) colour based on the pics at bbts. I may be wrong though.
^I heard that, main faces and heels only for me. I need to collect another line of toys like I need a hole in the head.
Alright, reissues/variants pulled me back in. Ordered Lion-O and Panthro at BBTS. Sure hope the line makes it to Snarf and Snarfer!
It's hard to be strong, though...lol. For better or worse, after looking at all of the characters S7 currently has planned, I'm realizing that I barely remember most of them beyond the main good guys and bad guys anyway. And I fucking LOVED that show as a kid.
Uggghhhh... I had missed out on wave one since I was short on funds when they were being released so I was going to pass on this line... but now that Lion-O and Panthro are being reissued... and the guys I want from wave 2 are back in stock for preorder... I'm in. Though I just plan on getting the main Thundercats, Mumm-Ra, and the Mutants... so about sixteen figures total. Guys like Captain Cracker and Snowman I can easily pass on.
