I saw new posts and said “sweet! Wave 2 is finally releasing!” Boo. I mean, I’m glad to see progress and know where things stand, but I don’t see them hitting that spring mark. Maybe summer to have them in hand.

Just trying to pass the update along. But I feel yah. COVID probably isn’t helping.

So good to see Super 7 true to form, gives me a slight reprieve so maybe I can pay down/off other pre-orders before these hit.

Oh - wasn’t frustrated at you at all - really appreciate you passing on the update. I’m also not *really* frustrated with S7...just had hopes that these figures would be a little farther along. They’re still coming - I’ll live:)

I have not opened wave 1 yet, just being impatient about not have Mum-Ra full power mode. Wave 1 should of been Mum-Ra, and wave 2 or 3 could of had Mum-Ra the mummy.

So in other words, I shouldn't be worried about my wave _3_ preorders dropping anytime soon.

They shouldn't have even announced waves 3 and 4 until wave 2 was close to completion. Don't look to get wave 3 until next year.

They did say that the hold up was that they had produced waves 1 and 2 at the Mattel factories, but they had been running into issues getting them produced there in a timely manner because they were having to share the space with Mattel, who was having to capitalize on most of the factory’s time in order to get most of their various lines produced.

Because of this, Super7 said that they moved the Thundercats line to their own factories, and don’t expect any delays after wave 2 (I think they announced this, pre-covid though, so I expect that could still affect things). Brian Flynn had said in an interview that because of the delay with wave 2 and the factory change for wave 3, he thought that wave 3 would follow pretty quickly after wave 2. I’ve seen some collectors speculate that wave 3 might even release first, although I don’t know how true that will prove to be.

Is there a chance of being a restock Of Lion'O? I finally got some extra cash but he's sold-out everywhere. The cheapest is $75 amazon and Ebay.

No, those are one and done. Aftermarket or bust at this point.

I saw that wave 2 and beyond will have the pins not showing, which is great but now wave 1 will not look as good next to all the other releases. I wonder if Super7 won’t update the series one characters with the new articulation and re-release them in other waves. I really wish Lion-O’s colors better matched the cartoon.

Had a chance to open Panthro tonight and he's pretty good.

Sorry, I had to take this picture.

Random figures together, crazy that the Mcfarlane fig is the most articulated.

I saw on toynewsi.com that Super7 released a teaser image for licenses that they’re working on this year, and in the image, among other things, you can clearly see pics teasing more Thundercats and Silverhawks!

Grats to the people who like the new lines being produced, nothing I really care for. The Thunder tank if $300 and under would be good, anything higher, its becoming haslabs money and quality. S7 is not known for 12" figures, but if the company made detailed figures from Original Trek to Voyager, it should be popular and sell. Playmates did have success with that scale, but the line was dying at that time.
