Hm thinking of cancelling mine.
From Threezero proper? If it’s coming in soon, I’ll take it off of your hands...
Nah sorry, from an online store in the States.
Yeah, that’s where my two are ordered from. Not looking forward to the next 3 month wait...
Ohh he's awesome.
Never preorder from amazon, this is a common issue.
ravage's legs extend for transformation btw
I feel like I'm the only one doing it
I actually think he looks weird with his back legs extended outwards so that his body is longer. Looks better with them pushed in to me so I just leave them like that.
I forgot how delicious these boys knees look when bending.
I wouldn’t if I were you .
Ravage looks pretty limited articulation wise.
He's missing left and right articulation for his ankle and head but that's about it. I mean it's not like he would be doing any crazy poses besides just standing there regardless. I might mod it in the future to make it a ball joint or something.
Yeh, that’s my biggest complaint about this release. No articulation in the body (waist, torso, etc) and tail. Limited leg articulation too. And I feel he’s kind of small. But still a pretty figure.
It's obvious Ravage was a victim of the accounting department.
"How much would articulation cost? More than zero dollars? Cut it!!"
This is pretty good . Good ol’ Tom & Jerry.
I hadn’t consider that. You might be right
My guess was for the transformation gimmick. There were a few skeptical design choices such as the plastic sheet inside Soundwave’s tape compartment, which could also be seen in the arm pit. Usually ThreeZero sculpts all those details, but then I realized that plastic printed sheet is to insert Ravage smoothly. Then it became clear that ravage might be smaller too having to fit in the chest. Then I all the articulation was removed because Ravage is too small to add more articulation.
Anyway, that’s just my theory LOL. Basically a larger and more articulate Ravage was compromised for the transformation gimmick.
The transformation is 100% the reason for it being inaccurate in scale and limited in articulation but the figure overall doesn't really lose anything from it imo. At least for me, I just kind of view Ravage as a small accessory so the stuff lacking on him doesn't really bother me too much.
Ideally they should have just included a second pre-transformed Ravage and then one that's fully articulated and correct in scale. Maybe if they do a Premium scale of him.
I agree, especially this part.
