So...not ThreeZero. Their official product description calls them collectible figures.
Yeah it's lame name bandwagon and it's stupid I admit. It helps me design cuz they look so good. Now why people are bashing the non transforming idea when these are specifically made to look like the CGI?
On display at ACGHK 2021 (photos by toyzlover). Jetfire Prime seriously looks jawdropping. It's still insane to me that they're two complete figures combined together and still super articulated.
Can't wait for these to release.
Some more photos by ToysWalker.
Yes! It looks as though they actually listened to feedback and toned down the overfaded weathering it seems(the whole being slapped by a bag of talcum powder look). I really hope this is the case.
So do we have any specific release date or is it still "3rd Quarter 2021"?
I don't know if it's already been addressed before, but does the combination use all of Jetfire or will there be leftover parts? I assume there will be, but do we have any idea how much of it will have to be set aside?
Yeah, it looks much better
You can also notice that alot of light is shining on base Prime already and he's still looks vibrant in color which is a great sign. Here's hoping!
Unless they thought it was a cute idea to raise the saturation on the phone camera filter.
There's multiple photos of the figures from different people. It's def less faded than when we first saw it. Now if that's how it'll actually be with the production version is unknown but one can hope. Either way the figures look incredible.
Absolutely. Now he looks like an affordable Prime 1 statue, which I approve
Really glad to see improvements being made to this guy but there are still some missing details like the ankle truck parts missing which should give his foot a fuller and more complete look. For me that's the most glaring part they should address before release. I hope they do because this figure is so close to perfection.
At this point I've made peace with the idea that Jetfire won't be more than an accessory pack / upgrade kit and because of that I think that my high expectations for Jetpower Prime itself are more than justified.
Huh? Jetfire is a whole separate figure that can be disassembled to add parts to Prime.
I only meant that Jetfire has been compromised to the point that I see it more of an upgrade kit for Prime than a display piece in itself.
But he’s inaccurate as a result and is really designed as armour first and a figure second.
Jetfire is like 3/4 of a figure. I would be more okay with him if they didn't botch the engine covers on his thighs to stick out so damn much. Really weird design decision to have them stick out when in his robot mode.
But to be honest, I really don't think anyone is getting Jetfire to display on his own. Only reason I would get him is to combine with Prime. It's just neat that he can stand on his own in a robot mode if needed.
Still, you look at this figure below and it's amazing that it combines with Prime to be Jetfire Prime.
Jetfire and prime look amazing. But damn that combine mode
I agree. This whole trio thing is both amazing (because of what they managed to achieve) and frustrating (because of the compromises) at the same time.
Sorry, how is jetfire 3/4 of a figure? That picture is a full figure. You may not think it's executed 100%, but it's still a full figure.
And has more articulation points then prime. Thats indeed a full figure
