I'm actually digging these repaints... not many of the Target repaints have interested me so far but I really like this wave. Really liking Armorhide in black... if he comes with the Sector Seven key I wont have to get a third Hardtop, too.
I've always loved the Armorhide mold, looking at him next to my Classics, it's easy to think of him as a "Neo-Classics" fig...he's definately a must-buy.
isnt the energon arcee mold already out as a target exclusive right now? whats the point of a 2nd one in the same line.....easy passes here.
Is there a reason why they chose Energon Arcee to be repainted more than any other Transformer? I'm still waiting for Cybertron Evac, CD Scattorshot, CD Red Alert, Sideways, Thunderblast, Menasor & Wing Saber to be repainted but they just keep repainting Arcee over & over again. WTF is that about???
Probably because repaints are easy. But scout repaints are the most cost efficient as such the've been filling in all the fembots from the "search for alpha trion" with repaints. I guess we need fembots to balance things out so hasbro does'nt bring us kiss players.
Armorhide is a definite purchase. Actually looking forward to this repaint! I'm skipping all of the others, though.
I've gone from Scout buyer to Scout completist, they'll be mine. Still would've rather had another Strongarm over Elita-1 though, or heck, a Shortround repaint. DN

Any repaint of Armorhide is a good repaint. It's one of my favorites of the last few years. The arcee mold is one of my least favorites. One of the few TFs I bought and then got rid of rather quickly.
