Some people said that the pacing and editing of this movie is really bad. I'll say it's great. Here's why: This movie didn't follow a traditional movie pacing. It follows a COMIC pacing as if the movie was meant to be split into chapters. For instance, the opening scene of Medieval battle was the 1st chapter, Cade and Izzy in battles in Chicago ruins were the 2nd chapter, Izzy interaction between Cade at the Scrapyard was the 3rd chapter, etc. Now you think of others by yourself. Some said Izzy was underused and was not really important to the plot. But she made a really important moment in the film which was Cade back story and shows his personalities more. The scene that Cade calls her daughter would looks boring as hell if Izzy weren't there to talk to him. Cade wouldn't talk to Autobots. They aren't human. They have no child. Later Izzy came back at the later part of the film which made sense because the Autobots wants to take a ride to London to support OP and bee, and Izzy was very attached to them. She would find a way to go with them. You can try rewatching the movie with different perspective and understanding. The movie is actually enjoyable and understandable. Although there is some plot holes, it isn't really important when you watch in a comic-chapter styled pacing. In my opinion, this movie doesn't work as a movie. But it would work really well if it was a comic.
