errrrrrr read the original post, it is copied directly from Nizzi's old work from years ago, just like lockdown's design.

They are not just similar, they are EXACTLY THE SAME. It's a cool design though, and I hope he gets a toy.

They all have vehicle parts on them. Just not as many parts as in the last trilogy. Bee, OP, Drift, Crosshairs and Hound all show vehicle parts. Some more than others but they all have parts on them. Even lockdown has lights an car bumper parts on him. The Chevy Trax Cons have car parts as well as Stinger does too.

Yeah man, they have just tried to steam line the characters so the are easier to recognize and follow during action scenes, etc. We'll see if it pays off but so far I like it.

The one Optimus cuts in half is different. There are no turbines on the back of the one he cuts in half.

Lockdown also has Cvjoints/driveshafts in his armpits and what looks like ignition coilpacks on his arms. Also suspension control arms on his forearms and air intake ducts on his chest.

If you watch the end of the trailer it looks like he is getting cut in half by Prime but then again who knows? Still if he is Cyclonus he better be a damn good one.

Was literally about to post about this, but apparently there`s no need! Was looking at some screen caps on seibertron.com a buddy of mine linked me (not a traitor, still firmly tfw :p  ) and someone there mentioned that they thought this guy may be a rebuilt shockwave, but seeing the head and the shape off the arms I immediately thought of that design. Quick search to find the artwork and confirm, and then a quick search here to find out if anyone else noticed this and bam...here I am!

And I definitely don`t think this is the same robot mode as the ones Optimus is slicing up, those ones seem to pretty clearly be the chevy trax design we saw from before...complete with the cool arm spike things. Would be awesome if this guy turned out the be cyclonus/the helicopter though, as there's a shot int the trailer where the humans are hanging from wires over the city and you see a helicopter pass below and all I could think about was whether or not that was the one we'd heard rumors about.

The designs not even too off for cyclonus either (for a movie design); at least he has the head spikes! They're just horizontal rather than vertical this time!

Yup, and even when the upper half falls, you get a very clear look at the head and its for sure the same TF design with the side head spikes.

Interesting how they're recycling old designs, I recall seeing that design 1 or 2 years ago.

They should use the Blitzwing model from that one video animation in this movie too. Don't know if it was made by John Nizzi though, but I love it!
