MMC Medicus wins out for me (mostly because he’s the only one I have out of the list). But XTB Stack looks like a very close 2nd. If I didn’t have so many other figures on my buy list, I’d be including him in that list. He looks very impressive, a fantastic bot with a great alt mode. While his transformation looks complex, he achieves 2 great modes because of it.

Voted for FT Rig but changed to XTB CS. I think overall that Stack is really great and deserves to win. Both modes are amazing and all built in cab is impressive. Great job XTB. I wish you more good figures in 2023.

Looking forward to a few years into the future when everyone realizes how criminally overlooked Chomp has been in literally every best of TF list that has been made this year.

He made the final 9, that ain't bad! FT released so many figures this year they may have eaten into their own votes.

For toy of year, i have always said FT Rig, and he is my top MP figure of the year and past 2 years, but.. i find myself playing and transforming NA Skyfire alot more, and alt mode is my favorite, so... went with that.

From what I own, probably chomp. Overall though NA's jetfire is the winner for me.

Voted for D-Zef, but Daishogun Boohmaru is a close #2 for me.

NA Ymir is probably my favorite of 22.
Kinda surprised by the lack of MS figures. I feel they have stepped up a lot within the past two years.

i'm a little surprised mm-01 didn't get enough nominations but thats the way the ball bounces. among the nominated choices i'm surprised firefox isn't more popular actually but i enjoy this voting process every year

Why is MMC's First Aid on here instead of Streetwise? First Aid was December 2021, while Streetwise was December 2022...

    Still, First Aid is excellent.

It's definitely an interesting one, Firefox got way more nominations than the Grimlock but people are definitely going for Ymir in the final poll.

Thank you, I enjoy reading this thread (or similar) each year, even when some results mystify me.

The results are coming out now, but the write-in stage for nominating figures was a month ago, before Navigant came out. I don't know for sure (can't remember exactly when it hit), but I would guess something similar happened a year ago with Medicus.

We always leave a bit of leeway because things are released late in the year, if the majority of people grab a figure in 2022 and vote for it I'm not going to complain if it was technically released Dec 2021.

The smart thing to do would be to run the "Year in Review" from the end of Chinese factory shutdown to Chinese New Year the following year to give it a clear delineation, but in the West we always get caught up in end of year lists.

MMC First Aid/Medicus came out in mid January 2022. The only people that had it in December 2021 were reviewers with a review sample.
