The text on the auction site suggests it's just a KO.

The deal is that even developing the prototype costs a pretty large sum of money. If there's no interest in the project, then they're out of luck after than initial investment.

So these cheapo teasers are a way of judging a baseline level of buzz, and then they can go from there.

Silhouettes without context, though, that needs to end.

It's a robot the size of a small child that turns into a fort (man-children love forts) and a battle station. It also has guns that turn into guns, giant fucking swords if you happen to be Japanese, and is, like, a Double Headmaster or something.

If it's a new item, awesome! If its a KO, awesome! But if it is a reproduction of the G1 mold, I'm fine if they made it 100% plastic to keep the costs down and help differentiate from the original. And it would be nice if the master sword was added and a custom Powermaster shell for Cerebros.

If it's a high quality Generation 1 inspired 3rd party Fort Max I'm interested. If, it's just a nice High Quality KO I'm interested. I love G1. With that said, until I see some concept Drawings or even a mold. I can't say for sure if I'll buy it though. So this is way premature.

How much was the original Fort Max back in the day? I want to see if I can adjust it for inflation. $400 for a high quality doesn't sound too bad.

I hope this is a new fort max mold 3rd party transformer set. It would be really cool if they make this thing the biggest baddest tf ever. Make him around 50 inches tall. Just release him piece by piece to lower the big costs at once. Maybe do like 100.00 a part. Do like 20 parts to complete it. This will be the best tf ever, even bigger than not devy. Or crazy devy can do a bunch of add on parts for the g1 fort max?

Wait ... you're suggesting we part form this figure? Roughly 20 parts ... at $100 a part ...

    $2000?

    What...?
