Okay, we have seen several (heck MANY!) third party TF companies making their own version of the Dinobots. Many of them had new gimmicks. Which gimmicks do you think are winners? Pick as many as you want. Repaints in G2, black or SG colors (see from Hasbro and Justitoys) Combining (seen on TFC and in some fan fiction) Men sidekicks who turn into melee weapons (FansProject Lost Exo Realm is a good example) Dinosaur sidekicks who turn into guns (Action Master Snarl had one! Why not give them all these?) New Dinobots beyond the original 5 (Paddles, Slapper, new characters) New alt modes (cars, Cybertronian tanks, cassettes) Light up weapons (Always popular with MP) Sounds (some people like this) Chrome bits (Hasbro, Justittoys and FansProject) Glow in the dark (why not, we don't see enough of this!) Lots of 5mm ports (always handy!) Diecast parts (because METAL!) Other (please list below)
I love the Meleemaster (Bashmaster? Slashmaster? Crainialwallsmashmaster?) type weapons coming with the Lost Realm Dinoboys, they're ace. Especially as FP do their tiny dudes with real chutzpah.
I voted for New Characters (Paddles especially, and why not a Fembot) and Men Sidekicks (Targetmaster or Diaclone are so awesome on the FP Dinos, really love this idea that I want them ALL) The Chrome is nice, but I find the FP one looked nice either way, thus didn't vote. But it HAS to be a nice gold like what MMC and FP have done if not chromed, otherwise, CHROME PLS. Diecast is nice, but toy can still be great without it, as shown by MMC, thus didn't vote 5mm port is nice too, but has to be used smartly, like what FP did, thus didn't vote light up gimmick is fine and all, like FT is doing, but fine without it, thus didn't vote The rest, don't care, but I absolutely DONT want Lightpiping, combining, or alternate transformation. That just kills it for me.
Targetmaster/weapon buddies I think are cool but I am always receptive to more Dinobots being added to the mix.
I'd love to see a fully-realized third party Dinobot-themed combiner that looks awesome (cause that TFC-designed Star Cats set looks like utter garbage combined).
Just one or two new Dinobots would be cool but if there are too many of htem then they won't be special. Paddles is kinda cool but the Slapper character seems kinda lame.
