I am not sure Paramount is going to invest that much into a movie that is tanking at the BO.
You mean the speech that was recorded specifically for promos and was never going to be in the movie?
What happened to Strafe and Scorn?
and also did Burton ever show the picture of cybertron heading to earth?
meh, i thought it was going to be in the movie was just waiting for the cringe
"For my world to exist, yours must Die"
Kind of an iconic line to be missing. Did they record it for the trailer after the movie was finished?
that wasn't meant to be in the film just promotional stuff
Whats the whole thing im hearing about with topspin having leadfoots head?
and also, where was Drift?
Nope nope not falling for that one again
hate it when they do that
nemesis prime was actually a big let down
He was piloting the ship at the end.
Hound didn't say "I love violence" in the movie.
Well Bay said when the first press interviews hit that cogman takes the heads of robots and has a temper and he was making a VR ride with him doing just that, I count this at one point I am sure he did this onscreen or was intended to and either it was deemed too violent or something stupid. And the fact that Nitro's toy head fits mini cogman just screams that it was in development and sadly cut.
Also of note there was a facebook video of the barricade and bumblebee chase that put you in the driver's seat of Bee, but that video was longer than the entire chase in the movie..and cooler. So I think that got clipped
Yes he did. Right after he tossed the grenade at Day Trader. Becaue Day Trader said "You always resort to violence."
So I wonder, Orci and Kurtzman said that Bay changed alot of their scripts and improvised stuff that we seem to hate. example the pot brownies and sam's mom in ROTF they didn't write her acting like she took LSD. That took up a lot of screentime in relativity to the length of the film.
I am gonna go out on a limb and say alot was missing from TLK that I bet the writers had in there to begin with, and got axed for other things.
So being that this was a whole team of writers we were supposed to take seriously, do you think any of them will ever speak out?
I am sure there are restrictions and contracts but I really wonder if they will keep silent. Not that I think it's a bad film, but there's just so much silly stuff that bugged me.
Not if they want to keep working, they won't. That's just the nature of the business.
