Ok,now this is something we got to clear up.Now at one point Hound and Prime explained how planets were cyberformed to make them but if they knew this....maybe there was a legend about it or Lockdown told them or something.
Maybe the Creators told Optimus and their creations about how they cyberforrmed each planet they found in the galaxies.
Maybe Lockdown told the story to Prime that told to the rest of the Autobots (that explains why Hound knew the story too). Or just another plot inconsistency. I also didn't get it.
Of course they knew. They were originally machines that the Allspark gave life to. Which is why they were worried about Megatron turning Earth's technology into an army. What they don't know is that where the Allspark came from.
I got the impression that the creators created the All Spark which in turn created the Transformers. Optimus and pretty much all Transformers knew of the story all along because it was written on the All Spar.... wait no that doesnt make sense, one of the first lines in Transformers was that they dont know where the All Spark came from.
Ehren Kruger is going to have an aneurysm trying to smooth all this clusterfucked backstory out now. He probably won't even bother.
I like RedWolfs idea that the Transformer were originall ordinary machines created by the creators and then were made actual living beeings by the All Spark, even though thats kind of a stretch I feel. But it makes more sense than everything else. Anyhow, I was under the impression the Transformers knew of their creators and how they were made all along.
It didn't make sense. They should've explained the whole Seed idea in a different way. Like, the intro should be when they shown the Creators collecting the Transformium. They could explain the Seeds just as ancient artifacts capable of cyberforming planets, Prime didn't need to explain for what the Creators used the Seeds, 'cause Prime shouldn't know that. In my opinion, if it was the way I said, it would spare us another mistake/plot hole.
"That is how our race was born." - Prime referring to the Allspark So if their race was born... how were they 'built' by the creators? Regardless of whatever way you interpret it, it doesn't make sense. "You think you were born, you were built and they want you back" - Lockdown referring to Optimus However, we see the Allspark giving birth to the Transformers race in what is intended to be a prequel comic. Granted it can be re-written, but that's just messing with the continuity of the last three films.
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking too.Well the "Movie Timeline" says that the Allspark story was just a legend which says that the Allspark fell from the sky and brought life to Cybertron
Cybertronians are born as Hatchlings but we've seen on the Nemesis they are massed produced. They were both born and built. It depends on whose perspective which is preferred. The Allspark through its Energon gave life to Transformers. They were no longer just machines. I've said this before. Ignore the comics as it is irrelevant to the movies. It's not a retcon as the film writers has nothing to do with the comics written. The comics is non-canon to the films. What happen on screen that is canon.
It could be that things like Sparks, Seeds and even the Cybertronian race are efforts by the Creators to isolate the power of Primus. After, Energon is a amazing energy source.
Nah Lockdown was referring to the entire Transformer race. Lockdown delights in putting down everyone. From telling Attinger that his species is not special, to calling Autobots and Decepticons children, to boasting turning the Knight Temenos to a prison ship.
I just took it as read that Lockdown - in that way that cocky movie villains do - relayed the whole story to Optimus about how the Creators built them.
