I was getting ready for work this morning, when I see a toy ad on TV.
Oh wait, not just *any* toy ad, but a TRANSFORMERS ad! I haven't seen one of those here since I was a kid, so I was literally dumbfounded!

I am so happy!   Transformers are *FINALLY* coming back, after not being available here for well over 15 years!  

I am so going toy-hunting in the next few days, believe me! So far, all my buying has had to take place online or @BotCon (which isn't exactly the cheapest way to go   )

So, just had to share my elation with all you guys...you have NO IDEA what it's like to live in a world so devoid of Transformers  

 

At least you get a sexy accent from living there though.

Ah, the crumplezone/evac/downshit AD. Yea, I've seen that a couple of times here.

But what surprised me was I breifly saw the other day an AD for classics. Seriously, classics. I havn't seen it since though.

 

Yeah, I've seen it a few times myself, but still, if your happy to see them, who's to argue. I wonder if they'll have Transformers Classics ads?

Hey Tricky I am happy to hear that you will have the choice to purchase them in your country now as the hunt is part of the fun also that is some serious add! I had no clue what was said besides "Transformers" but it is o.k as we have the same add here in Canada but its in Canadian.They just add in a bunch of AAAAAAA's so we understand  

 

Is it just me or did I hear him say "Stink Ass" when the cyber key goes into Crumplezone? Silly sounding foreign languages

Transformers in Iceland for the first time in 15 years is happy and sad at the same time.

If there are any other Icelandic fans out there please sign up, Bimma deserves to know if there are other collectors in her country!

 

Let's all hope that with the upcoming release of the movie over here and shortly thereafter overseas that we will here more stories like TrickyDisco's and hopefully an increase in popularity in places where Transformers' popularity is on the decline, like the UK. It would be nice to see all Transformers fans have access to the same figures, limited or not. Exclusives may remain a problem but maybe it will happen.
