It seems that they're working on "super secret" stuff. While this doesn't immediately mean we'll get another Transformers game from them, it does give us some hope.

Atleast I'm happy for them that they're still running and having another project. Take a look at their website and let's wait untill they put up the announcement this fall.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I really can't see them coming back from all this and making another full Transformers game (or any full game for that matter).

If anything I think it'll be a small side-project, maybe a downloadable game or DLC. Or maybe something COD-related.

Well, it's certainly not going to be Deadpool 2.

But if I am wrong and this DOES somehow turn out to be something Transformers-related, there might be a chance we could see something next week at SDCC.

Even if they were making another Transformers game, a lot of their previous-staff are working on COD and throughout Actvision's studios.... So the game may not turn out too well.
HMS is dead at this point.

Don't know if it will be a transformers game or not but they are still sporting the cybertron logo, not to mention hasbro can and will make money from tf games and will be likely to use HMS again

I think it would be less likely to be a transformers game if they weren't using that logo anymore or not continuing with the franchise

I think they will probably be returning to finish or continue what they started at some point or another and it will be announced either at SDCC or a later event.

If it's not a tf game I will be interested to see what they do next.

A lot of people got laid off or moved on. I know the lead concept artist moved to Poland, for example.
Even if they're working on a sequel it's possible it will not come out that great, or just feel too different thanks to a different team.

It'd be cool if they make a Transformers: Age of extinction game, just movie, not like RotDS, and this time with all characters not only Prime, Bee, Drift, Stinger and Lockdown

I would love a dedicated Movie-verse game. No time constraints. Access to movie used ILM models for accuracy, and free reign to do what they what story wise.

None of these things are ever going to happen, unfortunately.

Sorry buddy, but that is a class 3 fake. The official Transformers Game Facebook is simply titled "Transformers Game", there is no official ROTDS Facebook.

They're just PORTING COD. They're not even developing it. Sledgehammer is making it and HMS is just reworking the code to the 360/PS3 version. That takes probably 1/8th of the staff of making a full game. Their studio could be doing both at the same time.

Ya... I know this, but what articles have made it sound like is that they are no longer part of HMS and they are dedicated to porting COD and whatever else Activision wants them to do, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them left.
Please prove me wrong, I would love to hear good news!

They are the Rocksteady of the TF games. I hope they make a sequel because judging by the new cartoons and Hasbro's stupidity , HM is the only developer that can make TF any justice.

After DP, i think a new amazing TF game could restore their reputation.

In late April HMS stated they're working on an unannounced, next gen title while working on porting COD, like I said - porting only takes a small amount of individuals to program code. No artists needed, no level design, nothing. Just changing code over, you don't even have to be very talented. WayForward (the team that did ROTDS) their only decent games were ports; since they didn't do any of the art/design/etc. So they have only a few people porting COD, and the rest are working on this "unannounced" title.

HMS is pretty closely tied to Acitvision as their publisher. Activision owns the publishing rights (currently) to Transformers.

I would NOT be surprised if they have their primary team working on a Transformers game. At all. The only thing that is questionable is how many people still work at HMS - Activision fired 40 after Deadpool.

That's my point, what if some of the good parts of their team were fired during the layoffs.
