Hey guys I was just thinking it would be cool to have an app set up for us iPhone and blackberry users that could allow people to see and submit updates on sightings. Like you can select the city and have it saved so everytime you access the app there it goes right to the city of your choice with all the sightings. I know you could always access the website but I think this would be a good idea for a quick go to thing. Well tell me what you think, this is submitted via my iPhone lol I've also posted this on the Cybertron.ca fourm. What do you mean sightings? Like Transformer sightings at local stores and shops? Can the app accept a photo taken from the phone and upload it?
Ya, lets say you happen to be out at (insert city name here) and your all like hey (Insert TF toy here) just came out I wonder if (insert store here) has it in stock, BAMN you pull out your iPhone/blackberry click on the app and there you go you can find out which (insert srore here) in (insert city name here) has (insert TF toy here) Also you would be able to submit your own sightings with the option to add a photo.
I've been thinking that it would be cool to have tfw2005 as an iPhone app. Wish I knew how to program for the iPhone so I would have done it myself.
Another option would be to come up with a way to pay for the figure on-line. Once you find it, and if you want it, pay for it and it's on it's way.
Its a do able goal i'm sure. I'm sure there are more then enough brains on the boards to get together and do something. I'd even be willing to offer my services if needed.
I posted on the cybertron.ca boards that I think .99 cents is a good price for the app and would cover the costs in making such an app well providing enough people buy the app which I'm sure they will as there seems to be some interest in this
