Yeh, I know what you mean, Bumblebee just doesn't feel like Bumblebee in the live action film. Sure, I can deal with his alt mode being changed, but he just isn't Bumblebee IMHO.
I also heard that even though things were set with Sideswipe being pretty much the only faithful alt mode as a Lambo, Bay nixed it in favour of a (GM again) Stingray. Is that true or did VW, who own Lambo, decline involvement as it did with the Beetle and Porsche?
If so, why the change of heart with the Audi that is apparently in the second film? Just curious thats all. I can't find any literature on it anywhere across this wide web of the internet.

a power struggle within the Decepticon Ranks. The Fallen seems to be the big bad in the new movie, and with him gone, im hoping that Megatron and Galvatron, a new Decepticon who comes from space, start to go at it, with Starscream trying to get in on the leadership action as well. Shockwave and Cyclonus show up as well, Shockwave on the side of Megs, Cyclonus on the side of Galvy. then, through doublecrosses, awesome battles, and triple crosses, Megatron comes out on top from behind-seems like an exciting thing to me.


or maybe its all a free for all contest-he who defeats Optimus Prime shall rule the Decepticons-would make for an exciting trip for the very confused Autobots as they come raining down all over earth in a devastating attack on all sorts of national capitals to try and draw him out.


The Elite Guard, consisting of Ultra Magnus, Hound, Rodimus, some other guy who deserves a homage that im not thinking of that flies, and Wheeljack show up-since Prime and crew went after the Allspark, Magnus has been cleaning up after him, taking down Decepticons all throughout space usin their own skills and Wheeljack's special creations-the Dinobots, 3-5 silent bruisers. they show up to help Optimus Prime after hearing about the Decepticons making the announcement of the hunting of the last Prime in existance.

 

I'd like a story where the Decepticons were the threat rather than the only way the Decepticons can win is to get the film's MacGuffin. Lowering the number of Decepticons killed each film would also be nice since Autobots and Decepticons have been battling for longer than man has had fire, and yet when they get to Earth the Autobots are unstoppable killing machines and the Decepticons would be lucky to fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Maybe I'm just crazy for wanting villains rather than MacGuffins but it's like we are only getting half a Transformers movie since the Autobots are shown like they deserve a spot in who's who of great movie heroes but the Decepticons just come across as rather lame and incompetent. At least bump up their chances of something other than getting their metal butts handed to them to in a million rather than one in a billion.

- Hot Rod shows up at the end, but no Rodimus Prime or OP death, just some foreshadowing

And if none of that shows up... I'll still be there to watch Megan Fox in short shorts, Shia yell "No! No! No! No! No!" and Michael Baysplosions!

 

I actually don't want too many new characters. More characters equals less screen time for others. I really want to see Wheeljack. Also I'm probably the only one that wants this but, I want to see Optimus Prime die and STAY dead. I think that would be a big move killing the main hero as long as they do it respectfully.

 

That would be "The Lord of the Rings" of The Transformers.
But I'd save that for the reboot. Don't want Bayformers to keep going.
