Here's is my current project to go with my The War Within Grimlock. It's based on Don Figueroa's The War Within Shockwave concept art. It's still a work in progress as you can see.

Are you going to build a new head for him, or use Alternator Shockblast's head? I see the hand and laser gun from him. Anyways, its looking great. Can't wait to see what the finished version will look like. :thumb

G1 Ironhide did have a head.

Good work, how do the arms transform? I figured out the forearm guards fold over but thats it.

I'm going to make a new head. The Alt Shockblast head is a bit too small actually. I have an Energon Shockblast which is a good size but the design is not as close to the War Within design as I'd like. BTW, I installed an LED light in the left forearm. The gun can light up by pressing a button.

Like infosaur, mentioned, the arm more or less (with some twist and turns) move back. TWW Shockwave overall has a pretty simple transformation but that's how Don drew it.

wow, that's incredible...can't wait to see it finished. Are you going to scratchbuild a head for him as well? If so, will it light up? Now that would really kick some arse.

Viagra Prime and Lobo are inspirations for all of us who enjoy working with and modifying Transformers toys. Between WW Shockwave and LOS Megatron, I could die a happy Transformer collector. Not that I plan on dying anytime soon, mind you, just that their work is awesome, astounding and inspiring. If I ever get a decent workspace, I'll have to get some styrene to make my own kitbashes.
