I bet you its a mistake. They dont tend to fix that stuff much. In store price is 29.84, but no store sightings have been reported.

 

How convenient they don't fix that "mistake"... I bet if it were suddenly up to 19.99 they'd fix that mistake in a millisecond!

 

They tend to not fix ANY mistake, good or bad, because the website is poorly ran. bet you that they went to "fix it" to make it 29.99, but didnt change the 3 to a 2 and left it at 39.99.

Because they can. Seeing it's sold out at $40, they have judged the supply demand curve correctly on this one.

 

I wonder if one could order two of them at $40 and then return and rebuy them in store for $30 each. <.< I might be the one crazy enough to try. >.> In another two weeks with my next paycheck.

 

They have 3rd party sellers, that might be why the price has changed. Target has jumped on that bandwagon, too. They woun't/can't carry the inventory demand, so it's easier to "rent" web space to other vendors who may have it. Just so they can try and keep you on the site to make a purchase.

 

Just canceled my 35th Prime & Megs order. The delay helped me realize I don't actually need them anywhere in my collection so adios.

 

My order for Soundblaster was $30.00 and Bluestreak was $19.87.

 

And fuck Walmart, I'm done with ya.
My order for cell painted Meg's got cancelled today oct 10th with no warning, they refunded payment back to PayPal.
It originally said it would deliver on October 8th.

Item still shows available for pre-order with delivery on October 15th.

Luckily I got soundblaster delivered to my house.
Done with Walmart pre-orders.

 

That's the Walmart way, it is really hard to buy from it's website.

Since they usually cancel orders, I generate two or three orders for increasing my chances of delivering.

 

Same thing happened to me with Studio Series Hightower. They told me that at the time the nearest distribution center didn't get any in and that caused a delay in my site to store pre-order. I didn't understand why they didn't ship it from another center but it ended up getting cancelled and they gave me a $10 off coupon code for my troubles. Luckily, I did end up getting Bluestreak but after a two day delay from the original pick up date (which I was cool with as long as it didn't get cancelled too). But I agree, I think at this point, I'm done "pre-ordering" anything at walmart.com.

As for Soundblaster, I want to get one, but not bad enough to pay $10 extra so I'm going to wait and see if he shows up at store for a more normal voyager MSRP of $30.

 

I didn't preorder Bluestreak and Soundblaster when I first had the chance because I thought they would be arriving at retail eventually so I could just pick them up there. Now I realize I should have.... anyone have an extra set?

 

3rd charge on my card is the charm apparently. Soundblaster updated to Preparing to ship. Still no word on Bluestreak.  

 

Same...both soundblasters looks to finally be shipping.

 

I think it's messed up for those that Pre-ordered Soundblaster at $30 and had it canceled. Unless they got a $10 comp coupon or something.

But have they before, and this soon?

Obviously any store can do this, once anything hits low inventory, they'll just jack it up, especially with exclusives.

But I've never seen Walmart do it.

Both my 2 soundblasters supposed to be here tomorrow. Still nothing on 2nd bluestreak. So at least i am getting 1 of each and at original price. Sucks for my buddy who wanted a set too.

With this delay , I realized that don't really need the anime version of Voyager Optimus Prime and Voyager Megatron. Cancelled my orders.
