Soundblaster and Bluestreak release October 1st right?

 

Hey, guys. If you were on the fence about paying $50 for G1 Optimus Prime, you’re in luck. The price has changed! Uh, it’s now $60.

That's weird, the price was $45 yesterday. Wonder why the change. Could be a mistake.

 

Got my Prime order in. If anyone hasn't seen yet, Soundblaster and Classic Animation Megatron pre-orders are up now too. Still no Bluestreak though

• WFC-S66 Classic Animation Megatron - $29.99, ships Nov 1

It's still at $39.99 in this pre-order unfortunately.

 

Does anyone know why Soundblaster costs so much more? He’s not really different.

For the price hike, I’d expect 1-2 cassettes but I’d be ticked if he had those and nobody told us.

 

The price hike isn't normal as I pre-ordered Soundblaster at $29.99. The extra $10 is either human error or a system error. That, or something nefarious is going on. Damn lizard people!

Now I would pay $13 for one....not $50 or 60.

 

Walmart's website is garbage now. They caught whatever disease Amazon has/had where everything has a flipper premium and is never ever restocked.

Are they all smashed to pieces? That's always been Walmart's problem, half of the stuff on the shelf looks like a gorilla with lobster claws was involved somehow.

I ordered mine when it was $30 flat (for some reason). It's more like Walmart is just letting their site sit adrift as an afterthought. They're not putting much new stuff on it and they're not keeping it in sync with clearances happening at the stores. It's just...there...until there's a warehouse find of something they didn't feel like shipping to stores, so they put up a few units and go dark until the next warehouse find. It's like somebody at corporate said "shopping online instead of trekking to our barren stores is working...we've got to put a stop to this!"

 

Hey, don't worry about the $40 Soundblasters! The orders will get cancelled anyway!

 

Is that a thing with Walmart now too?

 

It was when the G1 Minibot reissues first started popping up on Walmart.com. People would order them, walmart.com would cancel them and then turn around and make them available online again. It was a relentless cycle for a while.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I must have missed if so. Are there UPCs or SKUs for the 35th exclusives? I don't see any listed on the Walmart item pages.

Poked my head in for 35th Megatron this morning and was pleasantly surprised to find it up again for preorder.

 

Thanks, I put in a pre-order in on Sunday, but then canceled it this morning. Out of principle, I don't want to pay another $10 for this mold unless it came with more cassettes or something.

 

That how I feel about it. A repainted Soundwave with a bigger chest does not justify an extra $10 for me. Kind of irks me them raising the price like that. Like you said, if he came with some cassettes, it would be different. I don't have a particular attachment to Soundblaster, I mainly just like that color scheme, so unless he drops back down I'm going to pass on him

 

Just re-preorder it so you secure one? 90 day return period... If you see it in stores for $30, you can return the $39.99 one for the difference, or just return it if it is indeed $39.99.
